Enjoy!
Can only be done currently on Optus, Vodafone & Telstra.
thanks
Thanks OP.
Is it worth getting the series 3? How long will it last if I buy it brand new?
Apple is still officially selling Series 3 and it supports the new Watch OS7
So at the minimum it should last at least a year
And in usual Apple practice
they will at least support one more OS version even the product has been discontinued (assuming Apple discontinue series 3 by Sept 2021)
So likely Watch OS8 will be the last OS for Series 3
which means buying a series 3 now you should at least enjoy 2 years of the latest OS features
(except new functions where it relates to hardware components, like blood oxygen monitor, always on display etc.)
I am currently a series 5 user and I have just bought the series 3 for my wife with this JB price
From my opinion, while s3 is not the latest watch, just those features like activity tracking, apple pay, notifications etc already well worth the $269
Thank you. I am mainly looking to get the series 3 just to be able to play songs from apple music to my airpods while on a run without having to take my iphone with me. Will I be able to do this with the non cellular version or will I need the cellular version with a mobile plan?
For series 3 I believe you can sync music from Apple Music to the watch via the paired iPhone
then you can do offline listening without taking the iphone with you

@littlesoldier: Thank you very much for your help. Do you know where I can find the series 3 for $269 like OP mentioned because I only find it for $299 and $319. Also, why is the black version $30 more expensive? Thanks
@theparcelmaker918: Apple Watch Series 3 Aluminium GPS 38mm is now listed at $299
the 42mm series 3 is $319.
but if you're quick OW still have it listed at $269

Ended up picking up a 40mm SE with a few sport loop bands on the way. Its been amazing so far.
What's the best screen size to go for if you have slender wrists? Does a smaller screen make using it more difficult or limiting?
For question 1, you can go to Apple Store to try it out to see which size fit your wrist best. For question 2, here is youtube video comparing them, including text size with different scaling.
I’m a 5 ft tall female and I went for the biggest screen I could. It is about screen realestate. Not only is the screen for the three smaller but there is a “gap” around the screen.
Thank you both. I was looking at getting it for a gift.
Best to get it from Apple so you could return it within 14 days if it's not suitable.
I am boost customer too, looking for the same for my watch but seems we can't get away from them, the other smaller company seems still far from it. So most likely I will go with Telstra One, have no confidence to Optus and Vodafone in my area..
