      I do get the disdain for quartz however the gulf to a auto chrono is a huge.

      And then there's this:

      Replacement prices of this watch movement were found online in the range of $65.95 – $71.99.

      If the movt. is that expensive then $279 is a fair price + Seiko brand + sapphire + alarm.

      I'd still rather have my eta7750 powered thing at 4 times the price.
