I'm jealous. Do you have a debit or a credit card?

      • Both 😁

      • Just debit and got this offer. Did however activate the $15 off $40 or something and not use it.

    • Same here..

    • Same here 😝

  • +2

Got the same offer; $10 Cashback for $40 Spend.

  • Which Commbank debit card should i apply for to get these rewards?

    • +3

I just have the standard Smart Access from Commonwealth Bank.

You can access the offers through the CommBank App.

Top Left Corner -> For You -> Commbank Rewards

Can probably stack it with the $5 happy hour. Not much, but still helps.

    • +1

Can anyone confirm that it stacks? T&C says "not valid in conjunction with any other offer" as standard, but not sure how they would have any way of finding out if they just see the final payment amount.

  • I have the $20 cash back for $35 spend. I had previously activated an offer for $10 and $15 cash back for menulog but they expired before I bought anything.

    • Same for me too! Had an expired offer i didn't use so they must have bumped up the cashback for me

    • -2

terms say cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer so im guessing no

  • Thanks OP, got it this time

$20 cash back with $35 spend.
Probably they are giving more cash back to people who use less of their commbank cards and less of Menulog.

  • got the same offer, thanks

$10 CB for $40 Spend for me. I have both debit and cc. I wonder why/how some people getting $20 CB for $35.

  • I got this deal months ago, it took a month or more for cash back to be confirmed so at first I thought it was not a genuine deal.

    • +2

Haha literally $20 for free when you may have been ordering anyway.
Yet you post a Tv deal for $500?

      • -1

My comment was for $10 off min spend $40. If you can’t see the trick here I’ve got nothing to say. I’m not here to argue. And what you’re saying is, as Barney Stinson said before “ I'm sorry I don't follow you. That's like saying 'how can an ant lift fifty times its body weight, but root beer floats are still delicious?'. Are the two even related?”

        • +1

Even so. Getting 25% cash back on anything is a deal. In what world is that worthy of a neg?

          • -1

@timthetoolman: do you even read your own comment? "you may have been ordering anyway" . i dont order anyway.
And can you show me the relation between me saying this is not a deal and posting a tv for $500?

            • +1

@behindmyego: You might not have been, but a lot of others would have and they got $10-20 back for free. Bargain

You're saying this is not a deal and is a trick to make you spend your money ($40 minimum), but you posted a deal for a TV for $500. Which a fair few people said was more expensive than elsewhere. How is buying that a better idea?

I'm not one to criticise people posting deals but it seems very strange that's this isn't a bargain but your TV is

              • -1

@timthetoolman: That was the deal I found at that time and I never said that it was a good deal? So now tell me, what does it have to do with any of this?

  • Thanks OP. Can I use it with the card loaded to Google Pay?

    • +1

Yep. If the card is a CBA card.. You will be eligible.

  • i do not recommend this. did this deal months ago, and have not received anything since. the hassle and waste of time connecting through at a time like this is a nightmare too. not worth it, dont do it.

    • Did you use this with another coupon? The terms say cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, so I am wondering if this is the reason??

      • nope. EDIT: the cash back pops up on top of your PURCHASE transaction original date. also u can track it back at the rewards activity. took a while tho.

  • $10 cashback for me. I did this a couple of months ago and it worked fine for me, got a few days after :)

  • Is this usually before or after discount and delivery?

  • Can anyone confirm if this stacks with 5$ off

    • I want to know too.

      • Yes it works. Worked for me! I don’t think CBA see what’s been ordered or how. Just sees how much was spent.

        • Thanks mate.

        • Got the notification that it worked but haven't seen the actual money yet

  • So is it from any restaurant or just hungry jacks? The T&C says only available at participating locations and when I click on the link to Menulog under the T&C it’s a link to hungry jacks on Menulog.

  • Does this work with Apple Pay, anyone know?-

  • -1

Good luck getting your money out of Commbank for this. Didn't honour ours last time.

  • -2

Made a spend on 1 account at HJ's and got the credit 2 days later

Trying on a friends account tonight with another restaurant. The fact that when you click the link and add your address that only HJ restaurants show up suggest it is a HJ offer that they neglected to label as such.

  • -1

Nothing to do with HJ.. got 2 cashbacks as i used mine and my partners (on same account and offer showed on both our commbank logins).. and both $10 back few days later

  • Got the payout today
