  • You excluded the part where … "the monitor may contain up to 3 dead pixels"

    • Ha. Good catch. It does say there might be 0-3 dead pixels. How does that compare with dead pixel policy of other LCD monitors? I guess on a 24" it is less annoying. I've got one dead pixel showing blue on my 7" Eee PC, but I don't really notice it unless it is showing all black (Linux console screen for example).

  • I purchased one of these from COTD last week, because I found out that V7 is a private label for Ingram Micro.

    http://www.pcworld.com/article/146652/v7_d24w33_24inch_wides… for a review.

For the price, I couldn't really go past it. Esp since I want HDMI input, because I'll be able to use 2 monitors then from my laptop.

  • Seem to be some good reviews on Whirlpool for their 22" model.
Kinda tempted but for ~$50 more (once shipping is included) you can pick up a brand name (LG or Fujitsu) 24" from MSY, or even go the Acer for only $369!! after cashback which is probably worth a post on it's own!!

  • I am confident that they're all returns or rejects .. so it's not "may get 0-3" but a definitely 1-3 pixels..

how does the warranty works anyway… we give you 3 years warranty but dead pixel(s) are not included???

  • The 22" version features in a thread on the following Whirlpool Forum http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies-archive.cfm/720…

    Cheers,
    Live Long and Prosper.
