The best way to deal with anything online is by leaving it online.
They don't know you. You don't know them. So learn to not take things so personally.
Don't feed the trolls.

Research something before you weigh in on it.
Don’t make stupid, off topic comments for low brow laughs.
Do it for the facts, not the upvotes.
Try to spend less time in the penalty box.
Get less of your comments removed.
Listen, learn and emulate.
Learn that money does not equal high IQ.
Pick your words.

This is why i love this site though
✅ Subtle, specific, referenced, memeable, had to be there comments for laughs.
❌ Stupid, unrelated, unfunny, aggression masked as humour that no one gets.
Humour that makes you think, reminisce or feel you were there for the joke in a good way will always trump cheap fart jokes if you are trying to come off as more intelligent.
I'm only here for the memes and sarcasm…
What about when there was an supposedly female user ( because of pic) which boasted about bad drivers and she had to get her back bumper repaired several times - not her fault..
And I said “ so your car likes getting tapped at the rear yeah ?”
And then I got banned because they told on me..

In short, don't make contextual jokes.
Ask them what their favourite rick and morty episode is.

Many people that claim to have a high IQ are merely educated and blinded by their own arrogance. What a lot of these “geniuses” don’t realise is that most of the old school farmers, mechanics, handymen and hands-on problem solvers that would be criticized for being uneducated have a well above average IQ.

Campaign against freedom of speech (bit a right in Australia, I know…) in pursuit of a postmodern right to not be offended.
Listen up and discuss or ask questions or Walk away from them.
