  • Never herd of this mob OP. Do you have any experience with the product of company?

i remember these guys, back in the olden days before cosair/noctua/etc got mainstream and fans got cool.

these and yate loons were the shit.

but there's really no point getting them in 2020… you'd be better served by a pack of cheap Arctics

      • Cheers mate :)

      • Where do you buy Arctics? They're OOS everywhere (the P12s at least)

sorry i'm not familiar with the practical side of things… haven't had to buy pc fans in quite a while.

I got mine (P12 PWM) from Groovesland on Ebay UK

They provide free shipping but it takes ages to arrive (to New Zealand), especially with Covid. I ended up grabbing x4 for GBP 25.96 back in May. Expect to wait at least a month.

          • @Wakrak: Damn, I bought a set from there recently and have been checking the tracking like mad for a week. At least I know what to expect now.

            • @pant: I think it took 5-6 weeks overall. Can't quite remember. Some time in June. Good product though!

Are these some kinda AliExpress random brand fans? Nothing about dbA at the CFM?

There is the Aerocool Shark 140mm for $9.93 with 97CFM at 29dBA.

Personally im on the lookout for Artic's P14 PWM at 2.2 / 2.4 pressure rating (72.8CFM at 22-24db or 0.3 "sone")

    • these predate aliexpress lol

  • Noise level? Extreme airflow so I'm guessing not quiet.

One Amazon review states: "The bearing sound (crunching) is unsettling to say the least"

This makes me think about walking around the basement of the golden computer center in Sham Shoi Poe HK. All the noisy fans on the displays making a racket.

  • Wow, oldschool cool.

Ill take 2 to put on my Thermaltake BigTyphoon, so long as it'll still fit in my Antec LanBoy.

    • That sounds like a porn movie

      • For those born in the mid 80's, it was….
