A very good pair of earphones at a good price. It comes with the BT2 wireless cable. At this price it is cheaper than buying the wired version or buying the BT2 cable separately. The closest local price for the wireless version with the BT2 cable seems to be $149 at minidisc.

Having previously used these earphones I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pair of wireless earphones at this price range. It's probably still worth buying for people like me who are looking for the BT2 cable at a reasonable price.

The other colours are also available for a few extra dollars.

More information about the earphones are available on Shure's official website: https://www.shure.com/en-US/products/earphones/se215

  • The clear ones look sick.

  • Anyone want the buds? I'm after the cable

    • Agree, not "sure" about the buds, but worth it for the cable.

    • I'd take the buds, how much you thinking?

Note that you can get chi-fi headphones from aliexpress cheaper/the same price for better quality. There should be a ton of comments on previous deals for the se215 that recommend specific models (e.g. Tin T2/T4, blon-bl3, etc). All you have to do is add an aftermarket BT cable.

(this is coming from someone who used the se215 for 3 years until I upgraded to the Tin T4)

Totally agree. Bought Blon bl03 a couple of months ago. Never used PSB M4U 4 again.
Now waiting for my KZ Zs10 pro.

      • Now waiting for my KZ Zs10 pro.

If you like the BLONs you'll like these even better IMO.

    • Moondrop Starfield would be an easy recommendation in this range as well.

    • any suggestions for a chi-fi to replace an old UE TripleFi 10 (3 BA drivers)? I love the TripleFi, but would be happier with something slightly warmer.

moondrop starfield seems to get a lot of love

It's for people with one ear much bigger than the other

I don't have much experience with other earphones but these are my daily drivers rn.
KZ ZS10 Pros for $80 on amazon but I guess you could go for the cheaper ones at $65, replacement cables are cheap ish.

Bought mine from Aliexpress under $40 around 3 weeks ago. still waiting for delivery.

Probably worth going for the newer KZ ZSX in a similar price range. Seems to be a small upgrade across the board.

      • Probably true, but it'd probably be a good idea to steer clear of hybrid driver configurations in the sub-$200 price range as the timbre of BA drivers tends to become very obvious and unnatural when a DD is in the mix.

Better to stick to a good single or double DD option. BLON BL-03, BLON BL05S, the Tin T3 Plus (not Pro), Tin T4, Moondrop Starfield, Etymotic X2HR, or Galaxy Buds+ would be the short list to get the most out of your dollars in the $35-$150 price range.

Other than that, something out of the KZ AS series would be better suited if you want something more technical at these prices (say the AS10?) but I'd be looking at the Starfield during an AliE sale. My pair cost the same as this Shure deal after cashback.

        • I've been using mine for a couple of months and don't really have any complaints - easy to drive and sound great out of the box. Most people have been happy with them, especially for <$60.

I barely use them now though since getting my HD58X's and AKG noise-cancelling set, and end up using a cheapo TWS set for portability on the go.

Good price. Decent in ears, but they're a bit muddy. Also uncomfortable for people with very small ears.

I'd recommend the Westone w20 on sale at addictedtoaudio for 220ish but they have no Bluetooth cable and are double the price so… I guess it's an option if you want a big step up in quality but I of course admit it's a completely different product.

  • Lack bass. Great for vocals, not so great for musicians.

these are terrible and nobody should use them, period, even if it was free. one of the muddiest iems i've ever tried (and i've tried over 200) with no bass nor treble. only free airplane buds are worse than these.

    • They have good sound isolation though.

    • What were some highlights for you across a few price points? I love my audio and pretty much only enjoy IEMs (need that sub bass).

What are your current daily drivers?

      I'm a Westone fanboi

Not much love for Sennheiser IEMs (but I do enjoy my hd25s)

Surprised and impressed withsonys totl models

Lukewarm on the campfire audio Andromeda (great soundstage but no bass, if you want soundstage and no bass just get full cans)

Interested in the ultimate ears, empire ears and audio 64 but haven't demoed and while I could afford, I'm kinda hesitant to drop 2k on IEMs when I'm still enjoying my current lineup.

      • Haven't been updated for like a year, but tldr:

        $0-$300: (Genuine, modded) Sony Mh 755, ~$50
I did try the hyped Blon/Tin stuff around $100, bass is to bloated for my tastes, but it's a very mainstream tuning many would like.
        ~$300 and above: Moondrop Blessings 2, ~$400
interested in the thieaudio monarch (~$1000) that i haven't had a chance to try.

I used to dabble in customs, but honestly can't justify them anymore ever since the above 2 hit the market.

If someone were to give me one for free, though, my pick would be the 64 A/U 12T

          Thanks for the reply!

I will check the moondrop blessings 2 when I get the chance.

And of course if I ever find a pair of u12t I don't want, I'll send them your way :p
