      • you do know you can have multiple ebay accounts right? I used both mine and my mum's which are both ebay plus to nab 2

  • code doesnt work now!

  • no longer works :(

    • Started at 4pm and depending on what colour it didnt last longer than 3 to 6 mins

  • Anyone else get charged $4 postage??
Edit: nvm it shows in order details but didn't get charged for it

  • +1

Thanks OP. Got in before the buzzer. Review online says 'good for audiobooks' but at $9 they are an excellent pair for a pair of working buds that you won't mourn the loss of if left on PT.

  • +2

if you message the store, they can change the colour of the earbuds you ordered before it gets packed and sent

  • I would’ve loved a pair but the code no longer works with colours black and white still available, oh well.

  • Just got a notification that mine have shipped out

    • Same. I did have the trouble others have mentioned about payment so I put another order through straight away and it worked.

    • Same here

  • +1

As explained in some comments my order was cancelled too.

Today morning I had chat with customer care and I was given code which reduced price to $9.

    Give it a go.

    Ordered today at 10.52am

  • Anyone know if the baseus charging case is the same size as AirPods? Want to get a cover for it

    • +1

Don't even bother getting a cover for $9 earphones, the cover for AirPods costs around $5 which is almost half of the earphones themselves, even if it does get scratched, slippery or dropped, who cares? its $9!

      • -2

Sure, you don’t see the value, but I’m wanting the lanyard for them, but it’s cheaper for
Me to get it with a case.
You might not bother, but who says everyone is in the same boat?

        • -1

Cheaper for you to get it with a case? Do you know any maths???

          • @jayboi: Look on eBay at the price of a lanyard alone, vs with a case and watch band clip.
I’ll spend an extra buck for those extras.
But again- I’m not forcing you to buy it. Why do you care what I spend? It’s my money.

            • @imnotarobot: I thought you meant that the earphones will be cheaper if you get it with a case but yes its better value to get the case with a lanyard vs one without but I don't think they will fit as most wireless earbuds (particularly cheap ones) are bigger than AirPods.

Why do people bother with this landfill junk

    • why do you bother sharing your opinion on here? Just keep it to yourself

      • -7

I shall ask you the same, why do you share your opinion and since when did you have the right to? These types of products, firstly with irreplaceable batteries by design and a lack of repair options, and at least for these knockoffs; cheap manufacture not designed to last or live up to expectations, are all part of creating a wasteful society that can't be sustained.

        • -1

Go look at other wireless earbud manufacturers.

MOST HAVE IRREPLACEABLE BATTERIES AND LIMITED REPAIR OPTIONS!

Who/what suggested that these won’t last long, maybe they will but you haven’t tried them to find out,

          • -2

@jayboi: The reasons I mentioned, combined, make this an absolute no deal. Primarily due to them being cheap throw-away items. Are wires too much effort for you, to spend less, get better audio quality, have a more reliable listening device and guarantee longevity? Shame, really. This obviously isn't isolated to this particular device. But this is the worst place to convey anything remotely anti-consumerist, I realise.

  • +1

Looks like my order didn't go through. Just received this email from eBay.

"We’ve noticed something went wrong with your purchase of the Baseus Bluetooth Headphones deal. The order was not completed and no payment has been taken.

We apologise for the inconvenience and will be in touch in the coming days with an eBay voucher. Please look out for an email from us.

    Thanks for your patience.

    eBay Customer Service"

    • Me too.

    • Me2

    • Same.
I'm hoping eBay will provide a code that will discount them to $9 as others have received.

    • same here.

    • Did anyone receive the Ebay voucher yet?

      • Nope I got nothing yet.

  • +2

Has anyone else received a msg from the seller stating TOLL doesn't deliver to their area (TOLL actually does deliver to my area) and that they're shipping via auspost and offered a $4 refund? Lol $5 total

    • Dont think you can get $4 refund. Its part of shipping cost and you didnt pay for the shipping.

    • I got the same email coz Toll can't deliver to my parcel locker. Item arrived yesterday, PayPal refund $4 today. Woohoo!

      • +1

Thanks for reminding me chase up my $4 refund lol. Picked up the package from the LPO yesterday afternoon

      • +1

        $4 refund received lol

  • Was charged an international transaction fee, hmmmm

  • +1

Has anyone actually had theirs sent out? I have a tracking number, but it delivery hasn't progressed…

    • Me too

    • yep mine was sent out and supposed to be delivered today but not updates from courier apart from Electronic Billing transfer

    • Received today in Sydney. And, not disappointed - sound is pretty good for the outlay!

  • +2

yea mine says shipment created. and status hasn't changed.
was hoping to receive it this week (VIC).
looks more likely to be next week.

    • +4

Remember to raise a dispute in ebay if the headphones don't arrive today. Ebay plus items come with free express shipping. You can get a $4 refund due to late delivery via chat after you raise a dispute

      • +1

it definitely won't arrive today. I wasn't aware about the refund.

      • +1

Good to know. Never done that, but tracking also clearly shows it hasn't even left seller. I wouldn't be bothered if the courier itself was just slow due to Covid. Also just to add, it seems weird that despite being "charged" $4 for express, Toll website indicates it's economy.

        • +1

Yep so ebay foots the express post surcharge of $4 and a lot of dodgy sellers pocket the extra cash and don't send express. So let ebay know and they will penalise the seller and reimburse you $4

      • +1

doesn't work, all my recent Ebay plus express items say "Free delivery"

      • How do I raise a dispute?

        • +1

Go to the item and report missing item.

          • @0 0 0: I don't have report missing item, I have " I didn't receive it" as an option. It sends a message to the seller.
"Let the seller know you didn't receive the item. Once you do, they have 3 business days to respond. If you don't hear back or can't work something out, you can ask us to step in beginning Sep. 16."

            • +1

@Iluvfreebies: That means the case is already open

            • +1

@Iluvfreebies: Yep use that option. Probably different wording between the app and website. I was using the app

              • @0 0 0: Thank you

              • @0 0 0: Got a generic covid 19 reply about the delay. Not sure how do I argue with this? I am in qld and the item still hasnt left NSW.

                • +1

@Iluvfreebies: I got the same. Will jump onto ebay chat and just tell them being an eBay plus item means it should be coming express. Tell them Amazon doesn't have these issues. I've ordered a few things from Amazon and its come next day

                • +1

@Iluvfreebies: Same and I'm in QLD too. This is what I wrote back to seller (no replay yet):

Hi there, I understand Covid can delay deliveries and that information can be slow to be updated. However that doesn't change the scan date which was 3 days in. Again eBay Plus is supposed to be free express delivery for which your company received $4 for and you have sent it via economy. According to forums, people who live in regional NSW (Not eligible for eBay Plus) have already received theirs via standard mail.

Your listing actually states same day dispatch. To clarify I am not unhappy with the current delays, I am unhappy that it took so long to be sent to Toll Consumer Delivery and that an economy method was used, when an express method was paid for.

                • +1

@Iluvfreebies: I got the generic COVID response too. On the toll website it says it’s being sent with toll priority which is express but hasn’t been picked up or toll is being really slow, seller told me it was sent out too. K would have to go on eBay live chat and if they don’t help then I’ll have to write a response to the seller.

                  • @jayboi: Check the service type. Mine says " B2c Economy"

                    • @Iluvfreebies: Same, mine says business unit is toll priority and b2c economy, this seller just wants to pocket the extra money and cheap out, I am going after eBay and the seller for this one, really disappointed that I pay for eBay plus to get free express just for it to be the slowest economy shipping!
(I don’t technically pay as I got a $50 voucher when I joined at $49 for the year)

                      • +1

@jayboi: I had long chat with ebay but they did not offer me any refund and asked me to wait for the item. If anyone here manages to get a refund please let us know. I will try again.

          • +1

@0 0 0: Just got an email form seller. The seller offered $4 refund for the late delivery.

            • @Iluvfreebies: oh cool let me hassle them. I didnt get any such offer

            • @Iluvfreebies: Thanks I will haggle them to give me a $4 partial refund

            • @Iluvfreebies: Same on mine, but not on my family member's.

            • @Iluvfreebies: The seller ended up giving me a $4 refund after 1 message I sent them which is not bad at all! So I got these earphones for $5 delivered which is a score! Thank you for suggesting that!

  • +1

I hate toll, one of the worst couriers in Australia. Slow, doggy and no customer support at all.

  • +1

My order is ‘Processed at facility’ as of today. Auspost tracking.

  • finally picked up last night. since i'm in VIC, could probably take a week to get here.

    • Toll picked it up last night? What does the tracking say?

      • just in transit. i dont expect it to arrive anytime soon. cos it's "B2c Economy ".

  • +1

Received mine this morning. NSW regional

    • +1

how is the quality and sound quality of the earphones?

    • +1

Nothing against you, but annoying that regional NSW which is not eligible for free express metro deliveries with eBay plus got it first.

      • Mine only came as standard post.

  • +2

I got mine yesterday afternoon. NSW

Imo the quality is exceptionally good for $9. The case is so smooth and comfortable. Music quality is really not bad. Call quality is not as good but still can be used for a quick call. Probably not suitable for long time call. Everything is working well.

Note: you might want to turn down volume when testing since the beeping sound (when connecting and switching song) is a bit annoying.

Definitely worth your money and a true bargain!

    • I received mine this morning. I have to agree with everything you've mentioned except the call quality. I was using the Dudios Free Mini, and that has terrible call quality even indoors. The person on the end of the line could at least understand me and didn't complain of background noise with the Baseus. But, I have yet to try outdoor calls.

      • What state are you in?

        • VIC

          • @02LyW: What courier was it sent with?

      • I have tried a few more times. Call quality is actually fine. Was about to come here and update. My first call using it I couldn't hear clearly. I guess it could be the other person. But after that, it actually has been a very acceptable quality. Haven't tried outdoor noisy environment either.

Also, accidentally hang up calls could happen. Better avoid the touch area at all and make it comfortable for you before making a call.

  • Haven't even been shipped I guess.
Tracking only shows that the shipment is created.
    I am in metro NSW.

Supposed to get by 8th Sep

    • same. still hasn't been shipped

    • +1

Same here.. Contacted toll yesterday, they said parcel hasn't been picked

      • You will have raise a dispute with the seller and ebay. Ebayplus items comes with express postage. This seller is using economy postage.

        • +1

Also look at condtions to become eBay Plus seller. Another criteria is 0-1 day handling time.

          https://www.ebay.com.au/help/selling/listings/creating-manag…

          • +2

@thefinalproblems: The seller made profit of $3200 just on postage (800 units sold * $4 express postage

            • @Iluvfreebies: Reminds me of those sellers who were doing a lot of 3 for $15 sales for cables, hdd enclosures, etc. I think one was Shopping Square or something like that… Gone from eBay Plus now.

Don't mind and understand slow shipping. No reason for slow handling and using economy shipping.

They would have know about sale beforehand and could have had units prepacked and ready to slap a shipping label on it. 800 units in the grand scheme of things for a company of this size shouldn't be hard.

  • +1

Seem like this worth $9, may not worth at $32, there is much better choice at $3x range, especially QCY

  • Just received mine, sound quality is decidedly mediocre - but certainly acceptable. Unfortunately they don't quite fit in my ear as well as I would have liked - they're a bit too big and start coming loose relatively easily. Don't think they'd be very good for working out, which is what I hoped to use them for. Might have better luck with an in-ear type TWS.

I think it would be worth about $20-25 if wireless functionality is something you need - otherwise you can get significantly better sound quality with something like the BLON BL-03 for around A$35 on sale.

  • +1

This is my first foray into TWS earphones, very interested to know how the sound quality compares to the likes of the Galaxy Buds + or the AirPods?

    • -3

These are 10 times better than AirPods Pro and Galaxy Buds…. evenly balanced trebles, mids and bass and microphone quality is exceptional. Don't know why Apple and Samsung cost 30+ times as much as these
      /s

      • Thanks for being helpful!

      • You are joking right?

    • +1

Just needed to mention that these don’t compare with more premium earbuds like AirPods Pro in terms of sound and general experience. Not even better than AirPods first gen and definitely not the pros. Have a read of other comments on this thread as well. So confused by Julz comment.

  • Arrived this afternoon, surprisingly (VIC). This was delivered by Toll.
Charged it for a few hours, and then turned it on.
Not too impressed by the music quality, but it is only $9.
    Bass was non existent.
Definitely do not agree that this is 10 times better than airpods/galaxy buds.
Would not have purchased if it was full price.

    • Even for $9,I think this will add to the landfill in weeks

    • Definitely not better than airpods. But personally think its worth it for $9, not the original full price.
