It basically turns all mouse movements into pen controlled, some apps will have certain features tho(like pen pressure and tilt). If acrobat supports some sort of pen tool annotation then it should work.
Thank you, looks to be promising. I also need to annotate online presentations, which has been a pain drawing/writing with a trackpad.
I'd recommend looking for a cheaper model if you only need it for annotations; the Pro model is more suited to those who use it for art. It's been a while since I've been in the market (I use my Wacom for my art-related job) and they've changed around their product names a lot but I did a quick search and it seems they have more basic models called the Intuos (non-pro) and the One. You could probably find those for a cheaper price out there than this one.
For basic applications consider something like the Huion Inspiroy H640P. It's $56 delivered on Amazon and will do what you need. Next level up is the $93 Huion H950P. Cheaper yet is a stylus for your mobile phone.
