  • Nice price.

That recent kogan deal was better. Skip this deal and put it towards a phone with local warranty instead.

Use the app for inclusive GST

    • Comes to $324 delivered and including GST, using the App, if you unselect Shipping Insurance and Broken Screen Service. And maybe 5% cashback via Cashrewards ?

      • +1

Mine is showing AU$338, not sure why

        • Might have jacked up the price? Via the app I get a similar price to you now ($338.58) and buying not using the app is now $371.34. Coupon used on both.

            @Cheeper: Tobydeals has cheaper price.

          • @Cheeper: I havent tried the app, but via the web page I see the Order subtotal as $405.07. The coupon reduces the price by $70.08, so overall around $335. This excludes the insurance, postage and gst.

@AAA-A: This is weird, or I am missing something?
I click on the link… the price shows $377.04 plus post $2.59.
I go to the cart and apply the coupon which gives a discount of $70.08. But… at the same time it changes the inital price of $377.04 to $405.07 up the top. ???? So much for the $70 off which turns out to be $42 after it jacks up the initial price by $28!
I still come up with a final purchase price of $371.34. (broken screen and post insurance removed)

BTW… The BG app gives 10% off automatically for your first purchase using it. I like others thought it was bypassing the gst by using the app but not so, it just gives this discount on your first BG app purchase via the app.

Anyway, Toby Deals is less complicated. Price is $329 which includes delivery and has no gst. Use coupon TOBY10 for $10 off that which gives a final purchase price of $319.

@Cheeper: No it's not a first time discount, happened to me mutliple times now. Its inclusive gst. You need to have your app setting set to Australia and not International

Good specs, but I really hate the bloatwares that come with Xiaomi phones.

    • +1

Have 2… never seen bloatware yet. I don't create an Mi account so that may help?
Get heaps of ads with apps from the PlayStore though.

  • Was looking at getting one of these but reports of dust getting into the main camera has put me off a bit. And the huge size is another negative for me.

      • Listed with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage in the Tobydeals listing whereas this one has 6GB. Both very good prices

        • +1

Tobydeals version is 6GB/128GB as well.

        • The 4gb/128gb RN9's listed on Toby Deals are all base models.
The RN 9 Pros listed all show 6gb/128gb.

  • How is the camera and battery life if this phone compared with Mi 9T?
