Hey guys, just thought I'd let you know that pre-orders for Hardened edition of Modern Warfare 3 is back up at Game. I've been having trouble finding anywhere to pre-order the hardened edition the last couple of days. So for anyone else looking to pre-order the hardened edition, Game gives the bonus USB dogtags and also free shipping :)
ps. took me about 5 tries before going through..not sure why, it kept emptying my cart when I tried to check-out, was worried it would sell out again lol
not going to pay $150 for it. mw3 can get stuffed they have become too greedy with all the dlc content and subscriptions

I heard if you have hardened edition you don't have to pay for map packs , it comes with the codes for the update . Is this true ?
yes its true, it gives you a 12 month subscription to that scam 'elite' system

Yes, it allows you all downloads for a year. whether they release all the downloads within the year is a totally different story.
COD Elite has this.
Comes for 1 year with the hardened edition or will cost $65 a year (cheaper to buy retail then get elite if thats all you want it for)

yeh, I know $150 ain't the cheapest out there for this, but I know after several online pre-orders from Game that I receive all my pre-orders on day of release, not 3 days after or anything, but the morning the game is released. So not the biggest "bargain" but more a post to for those who were having trouble pre-ordering from an aus outlet.
and if you check ebay, there's already people trying to sell hardened editions for $200-$250

Not a bargain at all. Just because Ebay has higher doesnt Change it, this is just the RRP. I think most of us would expect to see it 20%+ discount for a game/console to call it a true bargain.
I had this preordered at thehut for 75 pounds, cancelled due to activision being greedy #@$%$ and like many other long time cod fans (been playing since cod 2) i'm bailing and going bf3 only this year. If we all continue to pay activision whatever they demand then next year they'll charge a sub to play and charge us a fortune for maps as well.
yeah the direction activision has taken is disgusting. they are worth millions if not billions already but still continue to delve into the pockets of fans. after cod2 it all went downhill.
