Yuck, I need some brown Chromax covers to hide away that black.

$105.60 on NewEgg plus $9 shipping.

Trashed my corsair liquid cooler for this. This one is way much better.

    • This provided better temps than your liquid cooler?

Surprisingly yes. And it's much more quiet.

  • So ugly, nothing beats noctua browns.

  • I just built my pc, using the stock cooler that comes with the Ryzen 7 3700x. But it’s working hard in a game and running At 80 degrees at times.

I’d contemplate this - but no idea how to switch the cooler. Just remove somehow - wipe the CPU - add some thermal stuff and attach?

Is this 109 dollars worth of performance better than the stick cooler? Or diminishing returns? If it’s saves me 5 degrees - probably not worth it?

    • Get the noctua D14 on newegg. $98 shipped.

The cooler will last longer than your cpu, its a good investment

    • Heaps of YouTube vids on how to install a cooler. Measure up and see what will fit in your case first though, there is a list on the Noctua site for sizes and fitting.

FYI; All Ryzen chips will run hotter than you're used to. They chanegd the way they record chips, and instead of recording just the outer layer or something they are actually checking the core die or something, a malpractise that i hope changes for good, both intel and AMD. Intel may only read 57c but the actuall number could be up to 80-90.

    • That was $129AUD delivered last night, but only one was left in stock. I missed it. Maybe you got it?

If brown really bugs you, the fan to swap is NF-A15

What an ugly colour scheme. I for one will keep my cream, brown and silver monstrosity. I have grown to love it in my own way.

For anyone considering to build in a Cooler Master NR200, this will fit. But I would like to suggest looking at the Scythe Fuma 2 which is available on Amazon US via AU. I got mine within 1 week.

    • Hey man, this is a very late reply but how much did you get it for and how are you finding it? The RRP is $60USD but on Amazon US via AU it is showing up as $148AUD

    No brown, no deal.
