ToolPRO Automotive Tool Kit 87 Piece $94.99 @ Supercheap Auto

100

I’ve been waiting for a decent deal for an all rounder set of metric tools. Good reviews and price at its lowest. The case looks nice too, small enough to be considered portable and with a waterproof seal.
This deal was on OzBargain before so I assume it is good enough to be posted again.

  • Can somebody please confirm if this includes socket to change spark plugs in a lawn mower?

    • +1

It has two 1/2” spark plug sockets, 16mm and 21mm. You have to check if they can fit your lawn mower

    • Is this what you're after?

  • I got it from SCA for $87 ($77 after $10 voucher) so not lowest price, but not a bad set anyway.

    • Well to be honest I paid $93 after $2 cash back so just $6 more than all times low. I didn’t put the cash back in the title because some people wouldn’t bother and it gets picked up by ozbargain system anyway

  • I bought this with discounted giftcard 2 months ago for $139. Website says there's stock at Alexandria NSW. Very happy with it, has met all my car servicing needs so far.

Pros: bargain price, all metric. I'm happy with the quality but this is my first car tool set.
Cons: no breaker bar, case is not rubber sealed. No mention of warranty on the packaging.

    Includes 16, 18 & 21mm spark plug sockets.

    • The rubber seal is the internal red lining you can see in the photos/video. It has 4 locking clasps for extra tight closure, normally only get 2 on inexpensive tools sets. The large piece in the photo looks like a breaker bar also described as such in the video.

    • Not bad. Personally though I appreciate the more portability of the 87 piece. Plus I’m quite the casual user so it might be overkill in terms of price vs actual needs. I picked it up today it’s pretty good quality and claims a lifetime warranty via SCA. The only thing I think I’m missing are some smaller spanners which is acceptable for me
