  • I looked at this a couple of years ago to use with a custom domain name for emails. Back then it wasn't possible as far as I could work out.

Now it is. Outlook.com premium email service: Protect your emails with message encryption and removal of dangerous attachments,2 and add personalisation with a custom email domain name.

However it typical Microsoft licensing style: [2] The security features apply to customers who have an @outlook.com, @hotmail.com, @live.com or @msn.com email address.

    • I've added custom domain for my wife so it's possible. However, it was only with GoDaddy in past (and might still be). I migrated domain across for her.

    • It definitely works with a custom domain.
And yes, GoDaddy only. Had no luck with a Netregistry one.

  • From memory, you can stack these with an existing subscription, right?

Have not stacked it myself, but others in past post confirmed they have

Yes buy up. But the better deal is to buy up the single user version say for 4yrs then jump online and switch your plan to the 6 user license and pay monthly. You will pay 1 month at full price but your 4 years of single user credits will magically upgrade for free. I've done this before and it's worked. Confirmed with Microsoft on live chat and they said that this will happen and this is a limitation of their charging system

      • Great hack, thanks for the heads up

If anyone is a student in your family or friends,
you can get it for free.

Install it and sign in using their login.

sign out when you are done.

    Easy, free and legit solution

      … That's not legit :)

    • The school IT department can see all documents you have done on the student account from what I've been told. They can even see what you save in OneDrive. Can someone confirm if this is true? Or just to discourage people from using their kid's free accounts

      • Doubt they can see any documents you saved locally. I don't think this method works anymore, pretty sure it needs activation once you sign out.

        • Anything on the accounts cloud drive could be viewable though I'm guessing? They get 100gb of OneDrive space. I wanted to back up our photos onto it, but was told the school could possibly check and see what is being saved on OneDrive

          • @Sammyboy: microsoft and privacy are opposites - specially in oz where there is none now.

          • @Sammyboy: Yes, the OneDrive administrator for the organization can access any of their users OneDrive files.

Sold out… shows as low stock but then add to cart and says sold out.

    • That's disappointing. Thanks for confirming and I'll expire the deal.

  • It's back in stock.

    • Thanks. Good to know. I won't reactivate the deal, as it was a repost adding in the free delivery code which has now expired. Worth buying at this price still if anyone looking

$11.99 postage kills it for me.

Called OfficeWorks and managed to get a price beat guarantee deal for $84.55 plus free delivery.

Operator tried to tell me that the OW product codes need to exactly match with Kogan/Dick Smith but still honoured it anyway.

Not sure how this compares with previous discounted deals but compared to the official list price of $129 I am very happy.

Did the same, they would only do the physical card so I have to pick up… All good, apart from the long wait to get onto to customer service….

  • Wow… was going to buy now that it is back in stock but seriously… $12!!!! for delivery of a card!!!

    • Yep. Basically a postcard. I guess it's their minimum, but that's poor form

  • 5% off today if you buy through their iOS/Android app. Effectively brings the delivery down to $7.50.
