    • Short answer no.

      Long answer also no

  • Used offer bought fallen order on cdkeys- I assume that counts as eligible merchant. It tracked the purchase so hopefully i get that $20 at some point.

  • does anyone know if board games on amazon au is counted as "toy" giving 4% cashback or "all other products" giving 0% cashback

I ask as the terms and conditions state "$20 bonus is ineligible when purchasing from any store or tier showing 0% cashback."

    thanks

    • +1

they are, i get cashback for board games when toys is listed as eligible

  • What would happen if I purchase multiple items from amazon in one transaction, but some of them have 0% cashback?

    • +1

I'm guessing, but probably the 0% items don't count towards the $20. Best to buy them separately.

  • Does this work for eligible sub & save items on Amazon AU? I'm presuming it does but not sure.

    • +1

Don't think cashback applies so no, also just got an email saying the offer has been extended to 31 Aug.

      • Great to know
Didn’t receive the extension email, however when I click on the link I can see the Ts and Cs reflect that!

  • Got the offer :)

  • +1

Looks like it's been extended to midnight 31st rather than 12pm today

  • I bought this: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/402370882854
    Exactly $20.
But in cashreward, it shows $19.71.
    So does it meet requirements?

    • No
before GST it will be $18.18 so not sure how you got $19.71

$20 bonus is eligible when making a qualifying purchase of AUD $20 or more in a single transaction (inclusive of GST, after discounts, and before shipping).

  • I got the email but it still says I'm ineligible after clicking the activate button from following the links in the email.

    • +2

Means you have more than one CR acct (please be careful and read our terms around operating multiple accounts). Check the email address on the email you received and you’ll find it won't match the email address of the CR acct you're logged into, resulting in ineligibility.

      • hi there, i bought a ineligible item and cashback was declined, if i place a new order, can i still get the $20 bonus? thanks.

        • Hi tightarse, Can you help me plz? I bought a restaurant deal in groupon $31.5 yesterday. But somehow it did not track. I activated this offer through email and went groupon through cashrewards link but still didnot track. I can still see click history. Thank you.

          • @R n b: It can take up to seven days for tracking

            • @kerfuffle: today i again got another reminder email to activate this offer, “spend minimum $20, get $20 cashback”. Other time i normally get an email about tracking cashreward immediately. I just wanna make sure “I Wont lose cashback 15% plus $20.

I'm having the same problem as the person you replied too, I only have one account and keep getting the 'Sorry, you're not eligible for this offer.' error. I recieved the email saying I could get it as well. I sent a support email to cashrewards directly but it appears I won't get a response for a couple days. Do you know anyway to fix this? Thanks

        • If you're saying that the email address in the email you received is the same as the CR account you're logged into and it's not allowing you to activate, please PM me (check and confirm first). I can almost guarantee you the issue is that you're attempting to activate an account that is ineligible. Thank you.

          • @tightarse: For some reason I can't send you a message (Overseas user apparently) despite being in Australia myself. I confirmed that my account that received the email was definitely the one I tried redeeming it on and they were using the same email. Support replied to me last night saying that it should be working however I didn't see the replies until now. I suppose it's too late to get the promotion. Thanks for your help and quick reply though!

            • @MattTheCat: Hi. Please send the mods a TWAM and they'll enable messaging for you. We'll take this up offline. Cheers!

      • It wasn't but that's fine, cashrewards is too risky anyway, too many fails.

  • If I bought two items on ebay that are both under $20 individually but total cost was over $20 in cart can I still receive the $20 cash back?

I've checked the TOS for the promotion and it says

"Selected stores report orders with multiple items as individual transactions into your Cashrewards account. These are still eligible."

So would I still be eligible or do I need to buy a single item that's worth over $20 on ebay to qualify?

    • Yep. If your eBay total was $20 or over you'll get it. You have to buy the items at the same time though. Put everything in your cart then checkout. The cashback is reported from eBay for the entire amount. This is all assuming they are eligible items; most things are.

      • I see, thanks for the reply

It's just that when they both tracked in cashrewards it was regarded as seperate transaction but they did cost me $23 in total when I paid for them both at the same time as shown in my eBay invoice.

        Transaction: eBay Australia
        Sale Date: 28 Aug 2020
        Amount: AUD 4.21
        Cashback: AUD 0.04
        Estimated: 12 Oct 2020

        Transaction: eBay Australia
        Sale Date: 28 Aug 2020
        Amount: AUD 18.16
        Cashback: AUD 0.18
        Estimated: 12 Oct 2020

But I assume that the TOS that stated this

"Selected stores report orders with multiple items as individual transactions into your Cashrewards account. These are still eligible."

Would imply that I'm still eligible despite it appearing like seperate transaction on my account.

        • Yeah, eBay does that. I noticed iHerb also report each item separately too, but as your total combined is over $20 then you are eligible. You'll get the $20.

  • bought a ineligible item and cancelled, placing a new order will still get cashback?

  • RIP I wasn't targeted.

  • For online purchases

Can I use shopback AND cashrewards in the same transaction and get money back for both?

    • +1

How? It would track to one or the other.

    • +1

Nope. The extensions don't allow that.

    • No. Only one partner can be attributed the sale, and therefore only one partner will get commission for that sale.

  • I got an app notification and I can activate on the website but I didn't get the email would I still be eligible?

  • Does anyone know if I can stack this with the Latitude Pay offer for the Good Guys?

  • does the $20 work if i use ebay giftcard to pay in full? so im paying $0 by paypal or credit card.

    • no it wouldn't states in T and C's

  • Works if I buy this ??say 3% cashback , wanna make sure before I purchase
    Thanks

    • +1

Yep. As long as you don't use a gift card or purchase using the Nike app. If you've activated Cash rewards then you are fine. It will tell you if it's active.

      • +1

        Thank u very much

  • If we make a purchase then cancel it (email said it tracked) then we re-purchase it again (add more items to order), do we still get the $20 cashback?

Everything is eligible and I saw some people had the same question but no response.

  • I placed an order for $21 before gst on aliexpress and it came as 2 different orders. Does it qualify as valid purchase?

    • +1

Selected stores report orders with multiple items as individual transactions into your Cashrewards account. These are still eligible.

      • Thanks for the reply. My order got dispatched today..So no worries now.

      • Hello 👋
Can I please know if I bought a cart of different items that make up $40 worth on AliExpress, but none of the items individually reach $20 before shipping costs. Can I please know if this will still be eligible?

        Thanks

        • I don‘t see why not if the purchase of the items totalling $40 is made in a single transaction.

  • can i please ask if chemist warehouse is on the list as an eligible purchase as long as their is not a 0% cashback.

    • +1

      Yes this is fine.

      • I forgot to turn off the ad block on the merchant store. It was turned off for cash rewards website… will my cashback fail :(?

  • Damn, I just saw this…after spending. Oh, not eligible anyway

  • Hi…have made a purchase of this. Its not a prescription medicine ..Hope this gets tracked…somehow didn't track last time ..Hopefully its a valid one..

  • I received the email but when I click on the "Activate now" button it says I'm not eligible? Please help Store Rep.

    • +1

      I've PM'd you :)

  • ordered a few items on ebay. went in as 2 separate orders for total of $31+. hope it is still eligible.

  • Placed an eBay order at 3am and got the tracking email from CR at 3pm today. Cool. 😀

  • Similar to someone above I purchased something at 0% cashback and then a separate store with a 2.5% cashback. I did the 0% before I did the 2.5%. I've activated the offer so I presume it doesn't matter if I had invalid ones (with offer activated) so long as at least one was valid?

Has anybody received the cashback, I haven’t yet. My cashback was tracked and it was above $20 but no luck. How long does it take to appear in my rewards. The post says it will be credited on 31st August

    • +1

$20 bonus will not be added to your Cashrewards account at time of purchase. It will be credited separately as approved by 31/10/20.

      • -2

It might be a dumb question to ask but where is it going to be credited if not through Cashrewards?

  • Will the $20 show as tracking? I placed (what I think is) an eligible purchase but there is no mention of the $20..the sale has tracked with the usual cashback in MyRewards.

    • +1

Did you bother reading the comments directly above yours before posting?

      • Yes, I did. I am not asking about receiving it I know it's at the end of October.. it doesn't show up in My Rewards… Should it?

IMO to make it clearer to customers (and probably save themselves a lot of time answering queries) it would be nice if MyRewards showed some indication that the purchase was eligible for cash back.

        • Are you sure you did?

$20 bonus will not be added to your Cashrewards account at time of purchase. It will be credited separately as approved by 31/10/20

In short: if you don't get the $20, your purchase was therefore not eligible. If you believe it was eligible, contact CR

          • @kerfuffle: That is STILL confusing!!

Are you saying it should track as $20?

            • +1

              @beebul:

              Contact CR.

              • @kerfuffle: I am doing - made what I thought was an eligible purchase at Chemist Warehouse over $20 after tax.

                • @beebul:

$20 bonus will not be added to your Cashrewards account at time of purchase. It will be credited separately as approved by 31/10/20.

                  • @rompastompa: I am asking should it show as pending???????

I think my question is reasonable!!!

                    • @beebul:

                      Contact CR.

                      • +1

@rompastompa: Funny. The sale tracked but no mention of the $20 back.

And it still isn't clear from the 'replies' if that should show under the MyRewards area - not credited, just show as pending.

                        Have contacted them.

                        • @beebul: Either wait for TA to reply (which they might not even see), or contact CR and report back with your findings.

                          • @rompastompa: I have done and will do.

It doesn't actually seem possible to ask a question on CR - just dispute the transaction - no free text boxes for comment.

                            • +1

@beebul: You could also contact tightarse directly.

                              • @rompastompa: Thanks I will wait and see if CR get back before bothering him :)

                                • +1

@beebul: I always bother them :D Go straight to the source and, tightarse is the rep, that's what they're paid to do! :D

  • +2

Hey guys I got in touch with TA (he got back to me immediately 👍) as I wasn't sure if the $20 bonus should show as tracking in MyRewards… but at present it won't show.

So just for anyone confused (as I was) it currently will not be listed in MyRewards.

"Provided you activated the offer and your sale tracked, you need do nothing more. As per the terms, nothing will show in your acct with respect the $20 bonus until the date in the terms."

    Hope this helps :)
