I am back looking for a powerful (single unit) router after experimenting with mesh routers and came across these routers at Amazon.

    Have you loaded the ad blocking scripts via AMTM? Well worth it - it even can block youtube ads …

      Do you need to SSH and run some commands?

      Which script does YouTube ad blocking

        AMTM is "baked" into Merlin firmware - you access it by SSH into the router. The add blocking script is called Diversion, and one of the options is to block youtube ads - Follow instructions on how to install it here -

          @howdydood: Thanks for this I got diversion setup using https blocking as default under standard

          However I found an issue. Using speedtest, upload speed has gone down to less than 0.5Mbps vs 30Mbps i had before i turned on Diversion.

          I did a test while Diversion is disabled, and everything back normal for upload speed on speedtest.

          Do you have this issue? and i wonder why that is
