I’m looking for a good blanket for my chair, not necessarily for sleeping. Throws aren’t long enough, would these suit a recliner or is the weighted thing purely for sleep?
Yeah, for sleep. I imagine it would be cumbersome to manage on a chair unless you didn't want to move at all once it was on. They aren't particularly warm either, the glass beads that weigh them down take ages to warm up on a cold day/night, but once warm they stay warm longer.

"Gravity Blanket" sounds interesting, but apparently there isn't any anti-gravity blanket available in market at this stage.

Glass beads layer in the middle (can’t machine wash either from Q&A)… no wonder it weights from 4.5kg or 9kg for the larger size… for those who have young kids, you can probably have your kid sleep on top of you (joking) to get the same affect 😅.
