    Highly misleading title and description.

Bluetooth Wireless Sixaxis Controller for Sony PS3, AU$13.48+Free Shipping, 19% Off-TinyDeal.com

No, it's not a Sixaxis controller, that's Sony's trademarked name for one of its official controllers.

And DualShock 3 brings back the rumble feature for full gameplay immersion

Again, DualShock 3 is Sony's trademarked name for its official controllers.

Saying "Third party product, not made by Sony" right at the end of a long description that's trying to pass it off as an official controller isn't good enough. That should be right up there in the title.

I agree. dodgy description = dodgy product.

      • BAbow.

  • Looks like a fake to me

    • Errr. Do you really think so?

Did you miss where it says "Third party product, not made by Sony"?

      LOL

  • "Third party product, not made by Sony"

    LOL mate….

  • wow the word sony isnt on the controller

Have to neg this if the controls are all pre-assigned like that. How am I going to play Tekken with only one attack button?

Will this controller allow me to pull out a gun by pressing square when I'm playing FIFA?

  • I thought only Sony Bluetooth controllers work with the ps3? Other brands I have seem have USB dongles.

  • I am really having SERIOUS trouble understand why people are negging this item.

It's OBVIOUS it's a clone, and not made by Sony.

Surely the poster's inability to read is not a valid reason to neg something?

    • they really aren't worth the money if they're not the genuine product.
besides, sony's software updates can shut off some 3rd party fakes making them useless.
i had a couple clones that looked more 'genuine' than these and now they don't work.

  • I wouldn't use one of these if they paid me $13.48

  • I bought an orange 1 from tinydeal a few months back (not sure if its exactly the same as my 1 has the sony logo on it) and it is actually pretty damn good, the buttons are a little stiffer than my real 1 but other than that its very similar. My PC even detects it as a dualshock 3 and I can use it as a wireless PC gaming control using a $1 bluetooth adapter I got a while back.

EDIT - this is the 1 I actually got http://www.tinydeal.com/bluetooth-21v-dual-shock3-sixaxis-wi… it looks like a bit of photoshopping has gone on to attempt to cover the sony logos in the pics as the logos and branding on my 1 aren't dull and faded like that.

  • Don't trust these. While they may work for a bit, Sony are actively working to break fake controller's compatibility. Not saying it will definitely stop working, but it's pretty certain and you don't really have anyone on your side to fix it.

    Avoid avoid avoid.
