Ice House Spring Water Bottled 24 Pack 600ml Each at Coles Just $5.00

Ice House Spring water bottled 24 pack 600ml each at coles just $5.00.

Saw this when I went shopping and thought I'd share it with you guys. I know bottled water is bad for the environment but sometimes we do need it and this has to be a great deal for 24 x bottles. Thats around 21c per 600ml bottle. :)

You do realise that there are reasons for buying bottled water other than drinking it at home?
Ever heard of picnics or events where using tap water isn't really feasible? It's much easier to take a pack of bottled water than a tap around.

      • than a tap around.

I'd say a drink bottle would be a better solution than carrying a tap.

  • If this is true its an awesome deal. Im thirsty. + from me

It was at Coles in Springvale, Vic. But I assume it is a special at all coles from today. A bit of a change posting from something other then eSOLD.com.au

  • I pay around $1.80 per Kilolitre for water from my tap. I also have plenty of bottles at home. This means I can fill a 600ml bottle I have lying around at home for $0.001. Now if I buy a 24 pack of water it will almost certainly be stored at home so I fail to understand why I would purchase this given I have the same thing on tap for so so little cost in comparison.

i assume you got your bottles from somewhere, possibly from a deal like this previously

      • Have a read of this link, from 2008, and then decide if you think bottled water regardless of price is the way forward.

leaps to the defence of bottled water
Why compare bottled water to tap water? They are completely different products; a more valid comparison is comparing bottled water to soft drinks.

  • saw it at Coles mona vale today. pretty good deal I use the bottled water for homebrew and pay $14 for 2x 15L bottles. should get around to buying that new Britta online water system which is $299 + installation.

    • Have you seen the deal we have on our site for water filters? worth a look if your in the market for one.
      http://www.esold.com.au/catalog/product_info.php?products_id…

      • yes was considering those, but people on the post for the cheaper one put me off a bit saying it wasnt as effective.

          Here's a link to check out: http://filtersonline.com.au/filters-direct-filtration-system…
The same filter at over $300. These are a great quality filter and I would suggest on the same level of quality if not better then Brita. We just got an awesome clearance deal on them from the surplus of a large store's left over order.

      • Yeah I think I will get it, seems a good deal.

        • I bought it from your website. I hope it is a good unit. Can you tell me the brand name? cant see it listed on the website, and I went to Bunnings to try and find it and they all look different to this one..

Hope its not a cheap chinese copy

FD-FKH2. Don't worry we have sold hundreds of these and people have been very happy. :)

Red Rooster tried to charge me $4 for a 600ml Mt Franklins today.. I told them to shove it and found this at Coles. For an extra $1, get 24 bottles of water instead!

    • pfft would never pay more than $2 for a 600ml bottle of water, any shop charging more than that is not worth visiting as they are ripping people off.

Those juice shops sell spring water cold for 99cents

      • Which juice shops? Not boost juice? Those one's that sell cheapish juice in 300ml bottles, watermelon and stuff?

        • no not boost juice. just the ones in the mall that squeeze the orange, watermelon etc juice and leave them on ice. they have a section of ice with 99c water bottles on it :)

  • I hope this is available in SA

    21c per 600ml bottle.

cause that would make it 11c per bottle after refund. Haha

    • Wow.. thats pretty good.. Unless you want to keep the bottles for a special reason? :)

  • What does this water taste like?

Its ok actually, just sipping some now.. But I will tell you a funny story (for me anyway). One of my friends years ago told me he was travelling in Thailand and came across a local water bottle called "YELLOW SUPRISE" hehe.. He said somewhere near the cambodian border.. Apparently this bottling company thought that "YELLOW SUPRISE" was a more interesting name for their bottled water..hehe…. I guess the translation into english for us gives us visions of another liquid that is yellow but not considered drinking water.. :)
P.S. I just googled yellow suprise water and found a picture of the water bottle so it must be true, nearly choked on my water. LOL.. here is the link: http://engrishfunny.failblog.org/2008/11/12/engrish-yellow-s…

      • I never came across that brand of water while I was travelling across the border!

Was too preoccupied by the fascinating array of different coloured Fantas available.

  • Well during the orientation weeks of uni, I remember they handed these out free and it tasted like water, normal non-tap water. =) Great price too.

  • Went on a BBQ boat yesterday and took a 24 pack of these along - I agree bottled water is a ripoff but this was very handy at the time….

  • im in VIC but i just thought of the idea. If people are in SA and the special for this is the same price. they can basically get them for $2.60 for the whole lot by gettin 10c refund on each bottle they use. Though thats like too much effort to go through :P

  • not at Coles Bellbowrie… it's $9 here.
