    • Not sure why negative vote as I was looking for some real help instead….
Anyways, I figured out that the upgrade options is easily done using Mobile instead of Desktop
      Hope this helps .. thx

this will be handy one day

As someone who's used Rezi quite a few times in the past, including being a former paid user (resume) reviews, I personally found their services to be quite positive. \

The templates were easy on the eyes and straight to the point. In fact, my current job which pays $110k and hired during the COVID-19 crisis used a Rezi resume. I didn't find huge value in the resume review but perhaps there was either little to change or Rezi simply didn't understand my industry well enough to adjust.

For people who are new to resume building or haven't done up a resume in a few years, I highly recommend Rezi. Those who are already across resume building will find less value but might still be able to glean some good idea from their templates.

      Awesome to hear congratulations

Will support additional questions in the morning.

Impressed you're personally investing the time in an Aussie forum on a Sunday when it's a global deal from a US company via a US promoter. Stay safe in WI and thanks for the deal!

      • +3

no worries in we are in Seoul, South Korea so not too different

Tries to charge your credit card account which is suspicious given it is supposed to be 'free'..
    - Seems to error out and tries to charge your bank account.
    - Also there seems to be no way to delete your cc..
    - Instructions on how to apply coupon are inaccurate and do not seem to work

Whenever stuff like this happens a compromised account usually follows.. This smells a lot like a scam

    • +7

you do not need to input CC details, just click on the redemption code button and enter it, all done.

I agree, the instructions above could be written slightly better but if you take your time and see whats on the screen in front of you and click around, you can easily work it out.

    • Just a friendly reminder, you can select ''Redeem voucher" to avoid put in any credit card details.

I had my resume, generic application letter and LinkedIn profile rewritten a few years ago for about 5 or 6 hundred dollars. Best money I’ve ever spent….and I claimed back the tax too.

    • Yep agreed, its really can be priceless in hindsight - getting yourself ahead of the pack, taking away the stress of minor editing and going over the resume 100 times thinking it needs to be changed etc, that coupled with a strong linkedin profile. The $5-600 you spent is chump change on the potential bump in salary, opportunities, confidence etc it opens you up to.

I had this exact year a few years ago, really cool to see it come to life as an app.

Resumes are living documents so in that sense, Word doesn't quite cut it. The ability to generate a new resume with only relevant experience just for a specific position in 5 minutes is great.

where is the upgrade option ?

    • When you click on Upgrade there will be a button "Redemption code" above the plan type. Click there and then enter the code

      • i cant see any option to upgrade :/

  • +4

    Hi Jacob,
You guys have been on my radar ever since your reddit AMA. Just wanted to say thanks for giving away premium at a time when a lot of people are struggling with employment.

    • +3

Cool - love to hear things like this.

  • Thanks, will try out

  • Credit card details were added before I redeemed the code will I still be charged?

  • +3

I stupidly registered my card details and then redeemed the code. Now I cannot delete my card. Worried I will get charged? How can I remove the saved card? I feel uneasy knowing it's just out there.

    • -1

Hey there - you wont be charged - if you chat me your email address on the site, I can remove it.

      • It doesn't let me send you a private message

      • +7

Feedback: stuff like this should be doable. Nobody should have to email you to have their credit card details removed.

  • I don't see anywhere to upgrade and enter the code on the website.

    • Found it on the mobile site, but not the desktop site 😪

  • +3

I just found out that you do not need to input your credit card! Just click upgrade, choose redeem code, and use the code that OP has posted. Works perfectly! Thanks OP…

  • I keep getting 'missing card information' when trying to redeem the code. No deal if I have to enter card details…

    • +4

There are two tabs at the top, ‘subscription plan’ and ‘redeem code’, did you click on redeem code option?

      • Thanks that's the info i was missing.

  • Thanks OP.

  • I have used the code and upgraded to Premium, but when I want to review my CV, it still wants US$16 to do it

    • Yes of course we can not do free resume reviews but the Rezi Score will automatically correct most of the mistakes we cover in the review. It's as close to a free review as we could create

  • Got a welcome email "Welcome to Rezi! You’ve joined thousands of people who use Rezi to create a professional resume. Here's the interesting story of why I started Rezi as a recent graduate. ……" but no way to confirm my account. Try to login and get the message "To protect your account, we need to verify you are the owner of [email protected]. Please check your inbox to confirm your email address."

Done the usual spam check etc, but no email

Anyone else have this issue and know a solution. Wanna to give their product a try

    • Hello - some email client such as Hotmail don't always work for some reason. Can you try with another email?

  • +2

At the moment, it looks like all CV content added to Rezi is specific and uniquely linked to an individual CV. It would be great to see a feature that allows to quickly generate a tailored CV specific to a particular role based on pre-populated information. What I mean by that is:
    - having the option for all standard content being pre-populated when creating a new CV (contact details, education, experience, and high level responsibilities)
    - Having a repository of Projects available where you can select the most relevant ones for the job you are applying for.
That way, through a few clicks it should be possible to generate a new unique CV that is more aligned to a role you apply for, instead of having to create a new CV from scratch or edit an existing CV.

    • +3

Hello - this is a common feature that users request, the issue to building it is just developing a UI that doesn't suck.

  • How come when I apply the code is says invalid?

    • +1

After you click upgrade there are 2 tabs click on the 'redemtion code' tab or something alike and enter the code there

      • thanks for this

  • Thanks for this and for the refreshing honesty!

  • I logged in via my Google account, but now wish to use a different email address, however it's not possible to change the email address in my profile because it's greyed out… does that mean I'm stuck using my old email rather than my new, 'professional' one..?

EDIT: never mind, uploaded my LinkedIn profile to create a resume from, & that fixed my problem as I'd updated my LinkedIn already.

  • Thank you for this deal, I have signed up.
Is it only for 1 page CV? Someone with years of experiences might need 2 pages to fit in all the relevant information.

    • +1

Hi you can have multiple pages in your CV, when you add more content, the page will expand and you will see ———BREAK——— where a page will end and the rest of the content will continue to the next page.
      - DSD, Product manager,Rezi

  • I keep getting the "something went wrong message" regardless of the code here or appsumo..
I can't find any upgrade button.
I need to gho into the dashboard, then select a template use the template and get asked for CC information.
then I switch in to the redemption tab and enter the code "something went wrong"
I asked support 2 days ago, but heard nothing back

    • Hi, this is Dsd from Rezi.
can you please clear the browser cache or try a different device/browser? eg: mobile.
the code is case sensitive (all caps) has must be redeemed only at Redeem coupon tab.
      thanks.

  • I also get something went wrong…..

  • Logged in with my google account - couldn't find the upgrade button and the code didn't work under redemption code. Deleted account and tried to sign up manually for a free account but said my email was already in use. Any ideas on how to get it to work from here?

    • +1

      same here.
i sent email query and they came back said code has expired weeks ago

i will cancel my membership/account soon

  • Was skeptical of the data practices initially but after seeing how open and prompt they have been with their responses here on Ozbargain, I signed up to a lifetime account using the above offer. Thanks.

  • I am getting invalid coupon now, is the deal done?
