Was going to say "are these still USB 2.0?" but you've got that covered.
I will add that these are slow even for USB 2.0 standards. I used to have a few may years ago. It served a purpose of "write-once" for me, reading lots of small work files. I'd hate to use it for anything more demanding.
A great present for someone who's only worth $12.78 to you.
I've found a new use for them - they seem to be the only USB drive I could find which works for bios updates on my MSI motherboard. Win.
Oh, good to know :)
USB 2 = junk
I paid 19$ for a Samsung 3.1 last week at. Hn

Unfortunately a USB 3 drive doesn't guarantee USB 3 speeds. According to the feedback these drives write speed is very slow, e.g. "write only 12.66 MB/sec", which the seller or manufacturer never mentions when it's bad.
Got a few of these when they were 2-4 dollars each.
Only 17 & 35 cents more for these faster drives at Officeworks.
SanDisk 32GB Glide USB 3.0 Flash Drive $8.05
SanDisk 64GB Glide USB 3.0 Flash Drive $13.19.
Yes faster(~double) but still poor write speeds for USB 3.0, however pretty much expected at this price point.
Cheap but only USB 2.0
