  • Thanks OP. Ordered.
Does anyone know what Amazon's response would be if I cancel S&S on a few items after the initial order.

    • +2

No response. I have done it on quite a few items myself. I also leave many running and check them regularly so I can either skip them if I don't want them that month or cancel them after all.

    • -3

It cancels the order, I tried.

Just set it to 6 months and go in when you think of it. Or set a reminder.

      • +2

You have to wait for the item to ship and then cancel it, do you even read the steps?

        • -2

Apologies let me clarify - yes, obviously that works. But if you remove the S&S before it ships, the order is cancelled. The question from ck009 did not specify if the order had shipped or not.

          • @b2dz: Thanks everyone. I have Prime and my question was ' If I use S&S on a few items to save some money and then keep cancelling them at a later time (say - after the item is delivered)' - does Amazon question me as to why I am subscribing to S&S and then cancelling them or even put my account in some sort of suspension????

The reason why I am asking is I was asked the reason for cancelling S&S on an item.

            • +1

@ck009: That's fine. They won't check. Just wait til your order is shipped before you cancel :)

    • +2

Might be different as I am a prime subscriber but I have been canceling immediately and the orders still ship fine.

      • +1

You're cancelling future s&s, not the current order.

        • +1

Yep, thats what I intended/wanted. Referencing the post above where it apparently affected the current order.

    • +2

The Amazon stormtroopers will kick your door down, cover your head in a black cloth, and beat you with sacks of doorknobs until you swear to never cancel a subscription again.

      • Should have said that 10 mins ago…..cancelled the subscription 9 mins ago….so the waiting game starts for The Amazon stormtroopers….

Is there any quilton tuffy deal?

    • +5

This deal is a 12 pack delivered, and your link takes to a 6 pack for $6 that one needs to go to a big w for.

    • +3

Can Coles deliver to your house for free for one item? No.

      • if we talking the cheapest, this is no the cheapest.

        • +2

It is the cheapest 12 pack delivered.

        • +2

Including delivery? No it's not. Tell people in Melbourne to go outside to save $0.90, they'll appreciate it.

            • +5

@cumova: I'm in Sydney and my life is worth 90 cents. Just bought a 12-pack.

            • +2

@cumova: i live in Sydney use amazon prime… when its cheaper delivered i buy from amazon over any other retailer.. i still shop at Coles and Woollies and Aldi etc .. so not sure what the big deal is … i find i get less irritated after i have breakfast :) ..

  • They removed sub & save

    • Sub and Save option was there when it was in stock this morning.

Woolworth "Handee Ultra Paper Towel White 3 pack" currently half price 2.20$ , much better value!!
Also don't bag me pls saying its delivered while 99% of people still visit woolies or coles or Aldi for daily shopping …lol

    • +7

It would be better value if the sheets were identical, but quilton > viva >>>>>> handee. Handee sheets are pretty terrible, may as well buy home brand.

  • Sold out

Viva Paper Towel 12 Pack $12

$1 per roll is the normal sale price at the supermarkets.

    • +1

i know you used to the downvotes but far…cant even tell these guys its cheaper somewhere else. whats the point of a bargain website then?

      • -1

Google translate failed to decipher that…

  • I was able to get a total discount of $ 4.40 when I ordered a pack of 45 rolls Quilton ($ 18 from $ 20) and 2 x Viva ($ 21.6 from $ 24) and setup Subscribe and Save. However, when I checked my Subscribe and Save items, there was no Viva. Strange but I'm not complaining lol

  • +3

Isn’t it half price at Coles? $1.75 for 1 pack of 2 rolls?

    • shhh dont say that. i did and look what happened
      they even took my downvote

    • Yep, I stocked up the other week…

    • Yes, i bought 12 rolls for $10.50

  • +6

i saw this and let go at the early hrs. Save it for the Victorians who may need it more than us (Syd) at the moment. :)

    • Thank you for being kind on us!

  • Available again.

  • This vs Quilton one which one is better?

  • Handee is much cheaper at Woolworths right now $2.75 for 4 rolls I believe.

It was mentioned earlier, Viva is superior, can anyone tell me why and whether or not it is worth buying Handee?

Do the Viva ones have the half sheet perforations? That would be nice.

    • Viva is better. You've been warned

    • +1

Here is the choice test if you are interested.

Viva are much higher than Handee Ultra, although generally people prefer Quilton Tuffy as their #1, that's also reflected in the choice test.

Viva do have 'select a size' product, but that is not what is on offer in this Amazon deal, just the normal sized paper towel. You can either select a slightly smaller sheet than normal or a slightly larger sheet.

      • Thank you.

The only metric I care about is the Ethical score, which Handee Ultra rate poorly on.

I only use one sheet at a time and often tear them in half, they all perform equally for my purposes. Not really sure what others are using them for, I use a kitchen rag for most spills.

  • grabbed one ,

  • You can almost always find them for $1 per roll at one of the supermarkets and that way you don't have to store bulk amounts.

  • Is the general consensus that Tuffy is the best (money/value)?

  • Thanks OP!

  • +2

Tuffy is currently cheaper at Woolies guys

    • 4 of those would fill two shopping bags.

    • Yes this one is great. Bought one last week from woolies.
