The game was designed with headphones in mind. You play as a Norse warrior who suffers from psychosis, so she hears voices in her head all the time and that effect is translated using headphones. That could make or break it for you, as some find it too uncomfortable. For me Is one of the top games I've played this gen. The developers interviewed a lot of health professionals and people who suffer from psychosis to get their take of it right.
I wanted this before I knew that, but now I want it even more!
oh….i dunno if i wanna hear a constant voice in my head whilst playing…is this like some sort of mind reading ability or power of hers or something but cant control when to hear the voices?
@Zachary: Sounds like is not for you then! Can't control it, is not a power at all. The voices raise her insecurities and generally talk crap about her. Again is trying to put you into the shoe of someone who is suffering from psychosis. So yeah is definitely not for everyone.
Maybe pop on some headphones, watch the first couple of minutes through the title sequence at the start of this video and you'll see pretty quickly if is for you or not.
@la838: Oh…that wasn't so bad…..maybe if I were to try to stealth run the entire game it might be a bit annoying…otherwise if there is hardly any need to stealth kill anyone I guess I should be able to deal with the voices breaking the much needed silence….
