Sound great, very lousy battery management. It does not turn off when you put back in the case and when you go to use it's gone flat. IMO don't waste your money on them.
100% agree and i would add that they drop one budd and it will never reconnect. i have had this happen on 3 sets i gave up and just got my money back
Battery drain is so annoying! Besides that they are great but battery is a deal-breaker and I'd not recommend them on that alone.
I heard that bad feedback on V1… are the 2's similar?
These are rubbish for the money.
I wish this was the second generation
Read about these before - sound quality is what you would expect from a Sennheiser product, however battery life seems to be a big concern (advertised as having 4 hours of playback - but consumers seem to be getting much less). The touch control interface is 'fidgety' and 'temperamental' (e.g. rate of volume increase/decrease was too fast) - I might also add that personally, it doesn't seem like a good idea to prod earbuds into your ears all day long to change volume, skip etc.
SQ is excellent, and I generally hate the Senn house sound.I prefer these to my wife's Sony 1000s. Only thing close is CA Melomanias, which I ended up selling because these just sound better.
Touch controls are utter trash.
I get 3.5-4hrs still, and I've had them since they came out and they get used daily.
Battery drain in the case is annoying but hardly a dealbreaker. Just plug them in every couple of days.
Agreed, rubbish. Hence why News.com are giving them away. I got them. Battery life crap, fall out of your ears. Better sound than Apple, but Apple is much better product.
Ooo where's the giveaway?
"…Better sound than Apple, but Apple is much better product.."
Hang on…a device that is ostensibly and predominantly for delivering sound to the user…..and does so better than Apple…..is not as good as Apple?
Congratulations! You win the OzBargain Non-Sequitur of the Week Award!
I guess it delivers no sound if it's fallen out of the ear or the battery is dead.
Same for any battery-dependent headphone, really, if it's defective and/or is going into the ears of someone where they don't get a secure fit.
I've being using Gen-1 Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless buds since January 2018.
First pair were replaced (outside of warranty at no charge by Sennheiser Australia) due to a BT sync problem and, other than that, they've never missed a beat (literally or figuratively). I use mine cycling and running and easily get 3 hours continuous use per charge.
I rate myself as a "wannabe audiophile" and the sound quality (drivers + microphone) is astounding. They even give my Etymotic ER4XR wired IEMs a run for their money.
Great deal. If I didn't have my amazing B&0 E8, I'd be all over it.
I want the E8 Sport
👍

These have been on a reduced sale price before and since the release of the version 2 Momentums. Both are said to sound very very good.
