What's a double layer accessory?
For cooking 2 layers/rows of chips, for example

@sidharthdeshpande - the double layer accessory is best for sausages, kebabs, etc. Chips don't work very well because they fall through the cracks.
And if you're not in dire need of one right now, my advice would be to wait until the Click Frenzy/Black Friday sales kick back in. This is definitely not a deal as the XXL's can often be found at ~$300 price points. Add in cashback promos (if applicable) and you could be saving even more. Scan through previous OZB posts and you'll get a feel for what price it sells for when on sale.
I have this air fryer and use it every week, but I would never pay $400 for it.

You could make smaller roast potatoes and use the rack though. But chips… not so much.

I think Philips accessories probably are of better quality than mine. One of the metal rods on mine has detached from weak welding.
