$139.00 SET INC GST
QTY:
1 SET
Add To CartNormal Price is around the $185-190 … Toolmart has it for $185 …
What do you mean the normal price is around $185-190? Do your prices change daily? hourly?
RRP … No it does not …
@sogster10: please dont base bargains off RRP, as per posting guidlines, saving need to be the price you regularly sell for.
@wisc: $185-190 was the price we normally sold the sets for ??? … so that would mean our normal retail price … so $139 it is a saving … good one at that …
@sogster10: I think the concern is the amount of transparency with regards to your pricing. You need to register, then login, then you can view the current price. But no where can you view the price you had last week for this item.
@sogster10: Thanks for Clarifying, Sogster, we have so many vendors come on here, stating RRP of 1000 dollars get it now for 100 dollars!!!! using over inflated RRPs to make there bargains sound better. when 100 dollars is the normal industry selling price, quoting savings off RRP does not usually go down well on OzB for this reason.

Doesn't go down well because it's against the law
In this case the OP should have stated the saving against their usual price in either the title or the description.
Blackwoods is a trade-oriented supplier, so the pricing they offer can depend on your account type/annual spend or industry (gov’t etc). So the $190 would be their normal sell price to a retail customer, but the $185 might be what a large account holder pays.
I’d say that the reason OP listed the ‘Normal’ RRP as a range would be for full transparency, rather than less. My hubby works for Water Corp and when he orders work supplies on the account it’s cheaper than when he buys goods with cash/card for himself to use at home.
What country are these made in?
Sydchromestan.
OP that's your every day price. Come back with a bargain next time. The goodwill and sales from the OzB community is worth it.
Morning …
The sell price has been reduced in our system to reflect the $139 inc GST …
Normal RRP around the $185-190 … Toolmart has them currently for $185 ….
OP wrong site buddy, this is ozBargain not ozAdvertising. Sorry for the down vote but there is no bargain here. There seems to be a similar 39 piece Sidchrome set at Bunnings for $99.
These were under $60 recently at supercheap when they were getting rid of all sidcrome I no as I got lots of different sets
Bunnings set they are advertising is for 1/4 & 3/8 square drive not the 1/4 &1/2 sq drive of this set …
Happy for you to vote as you wish …
Understand the page as Bargains and i am not Advertising but just putting out a very competitive price compared to whats out there currently …
Is a bargain - go to Toolmart for the same set and pay $185 …
The Bunnings set @ $99 is not 1/4 & 1/2 sq drive but 1/4 & 3/8 sq drive …
Unless you are working on really old cars buying AF sockets is a waste of money. Look for an all metric set.
Look for an all metric set.
This is what I am waiting for.
I lost all my good tools to the summer bushfires (my big shed and all its contents were lost). Including all the socket sets that I inherited from my dead Dad (his tools must have been 60 year old tools from when he worked as a Fitter and Turner in Sugar mills in FNQ), his old Sidchrome stuff that was excellent, the new stuff… not so much :(
Most Sidchrome (now Stanley Black & Decker Australia) tools still have a lifetime warranty though?

hey OP, what are the chances of getting a fantastic deal on a makita lawnmower ? id like to put my existing batteries to good use!
(as your prices are REALLY bad compared to other suppliers
EG:
DLM382PT2: your price $707 everyone else $599
DLM382Z: your price $471 everyone else: $399
DLM531Z: Your price $884 everyone else: $749
DLM533ZX: Your price $1674 everyone else: $1419
DLM532ZX: Your price $1179 everyone else: $999constructive criticism: based on these prices, i wouldn't even bother to check blackwoods when i need tools in the future :(
)Afternoon Wisc …
I will respond once and take on board your "constructive criticism" for the 5 examples you did supply…
Considering we are a Industrial Supplier and not a lawnmower centre, it is a shame you did only used the 5 examples which were dearer and not the other 5 or so Makita mowers, we do have which are comparable or cheaper in price with / than the opposition …
Absolutely your choice where you shop …
…Cheers
Hey, thanks for the reply, just to clarify, I searched makita lawn mowers (in the search box)and that was every one that came up. I'll check again to see if I can find the other examples you mentioned and respond back.
Don't mean to p you off or offend you, just thought I'd ask as you seem to be really responsive and want to work with the community.
I get it comes across that way, which is why I added the "constructive criticism" comment, to try convey the working with the community thing.
OK looks like i missed three that didn't come up in the search:
so in the interest of fairness and completeness.
DLM431PT2 Your price $699 everyone else: $699
DLM461Z Your price $549 everyone else: $549
DLM431Z Your price $490 everyone else: $499So you do have one that's cheaper by 1.8%, and five more expensive by 18%… hmm wonder if this is a bug on the site, or pricing - as its odd the markup on something like makita is constant and so much higher than regular.
if you review your posts you'll notice i did up-vote quite a few of your explanations, so not trying to dis you in any way.
Where's the bargain OP? What is the normal price?
Edit : I can't even find out by following the link. I have to register and login just to see the pricing. No deal.
