I only own the Quest and haven't used it much but here are some stand out bargains:

Oh bugger, no discounts on headsets.

Virtual Desktop is $24.79. Not a bad price to be able to stream PC games to your quest wirelessly.

If I didn't already have Super Hot, then the Super Hot x Pistol Whip bundle would be great value.

I just checked via incognito. It automatically discounts the difference. I have Pistol Whip already so it showed me $22.50, which keeps the same discount of approximately 40%!

      • Purchased. Thanks!

    • ALVR does me just fine so I don't think I can justify buying VD at this point.

  • Oh nice Robo Recall is discounted, might have to pick that one up as it's at the top of my VR wishlist.

    • Robo Recall on the Rift is fantastic. Gets frantic, I puched something in the real world cutting my knuckles, didn't care, kept on it was so much fun.

https://vrdb.app/quest/ shows the price in stores in other countries. You can also sort by discount, and see if it is cross-buy.

Mostly I find the UK store slightly cheaper, so buy there with a VPN. Useful if you have card with no overseas transaction fees https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/cards_with_no_overseas_tra…

I grabbed "SUPERHOT VR x Pistol Whip" and it's fantastic.

Well, I've already played Superhot VR, which is amazing, and Pistol Whip is heaps of fun so far.

  • Is there a quest promo code I can use to make it more cheaper

    • No discounts on hardware unfortunately. :(

    • I've just popped in here after playing custom songs in Beatsaber. Scratch that, not only custom songs created by other people, now I'm playing with custom songs from any MP3 I have on my hard drive: https://uploadvr.com/beat-sage-ai-custom-beat-saber/

Quest is a great deal at RRP. I bought mine slightly used from a guy who was getting vertigo.

Beat Saber is still my most played game. So fun.

      • RRP is good, apart from reports the Quest 2 will be announced next month.

I'm tempted to get the Quest to play Squadrons on, but have heard Oculus link isn't great (mainly from Linus, but haven't seen many other reviewers going too in depth with it). And if the new model has better chipset it might resolve those issues (or maybe get better refresh rate).

So I'm crossing fingers for that, but a decent sale on the old model might change my mind.

  • Thrill of the Fight is awesome, it was awesome at its normal price. Been waiting for The Climb to go on sale, done!

Beat Saber is $33.78 at Humble Bundle as Humble Bundle are having a VR sale.

    • Coming up as A$42.04 for me. Also to note is it's presumably a steam key, not for the Oculus Quest standalone store.

      • Sale is over for Beat Saber it seems and yes, Steam key.

        • Still a good deal considering it never ever goes on sale.
