I have been looking for a TV bench since the old one has started to shed skin. Found this deal from Ikea for a decent price.

Features below.

  • Large drawers which fits in remotes, game controllers etc.
  • Cable outlets out the back to hide them from view.
  • Available in black or white colours.

Product comes in 2 packages: 41 x 6 x 182 cm (24 Kg) & 43 x 6 x 186 cm (26.1 Kg). Assembly instructions here.

    Pros:
    Very sturdy, strong and looks decent, is also a good size and will easily accommodate almost all TVs

    Cons:
    This is the most AWFUL Ikea piece I have EVER put together, it took me 3.5hours of tears and fury to get the thing into one piece

    Overall, good product 4/5 😂

    Oh I took me bloody 6 to 8 hours.. don't go for it if you hate assembling…

    Just an fyi, I've been looking at this for about 2-3 months now, and the price has always been $149. Actually I think this is the new low price (as indicated on page), so not sure what that end date of 07 Aug is. But this is new price.

      I measured mine just now:
      - Shelves: 58cm X 39cm X 16.8cm (L X D X H)
      - Drawer: 51.8cm X 36cm X 20.7cm (L X D X H)

      I rounded down by a few mm just to be a bit conservative with space.

    I have this tv unit and it looks great! If you are in the market for a new unit with this colour i'd say go for it.

    Just a suggestion, if your current one is "shedding" maybe look for a decent solid timber unit even second hand over another chipboard/veneer cheapo one?

      Thanks mate, but und currently far too invested in Ikea designs to buy a solid timber one that would go with the rest of the furniture!

      Besides, is there any good VFM furniture dealers that you would recommend for timber furniture?

    I bought an Aldi shoe rack also took me 2 hours so it's just me.. not good in DIY :(
