Cheapest B550 motherboard I have seen. The main screen shows the board at 177.70 but if you click on the other buying options you have the choice of buying from Amazon US for 129 AUD. Delivery is late August. The board is very basic but by far the cheapest path to PCIe 4.0 and next gen ryzen.

i would not OC on this board that power delivery is as basic as it comes… it will be "ok" for a 3600 (and maybe equivelant 4000 series) at stock imo .. i would pay that extra $40 for the asrock board from pcbyte to be honest.
nvme runs hot under the graphic card. No VRM heatsink is also not ideal but if you're using 2600 stock yeah all good. Great saving!
Gets excited..
..learns it dual dimm, pass
Tbh most of the limitations above aren't deal breakers for a budget build
if that's the case, get a320m then.
Except that the A320 and 350 boards are deal breakers in and of themselves…
$135 +Delivery at PC Byte… Maybe this is a sign that B550 boards will start coming down a little?
Nah, it’s just a poor asrock board no one is buying they have to drop.
Think this is just the really basic model so no
Crazy cheap! Has 4 Vcore phases with unfortunately no heatsink, but you can't complain for the price. Only 2 DIMM slots though… at least you can overclock better lol.
Edit: More issues. The PCIe slot layout does not allow for a Wi-Fi card with a dGPU and it only has 2 chassis fan headers. I'm not sure this is much better than my Biostar B45M2 lol.
