This pre-order with calibrator seems very competitive. Lowest price outside this I saw was @ B&H for 4500 with more attributed costs.
I am waiting for the PA32UCG but if you did not need the adaptive high refresh rate this is a great color sensitive monitor and will probably give you the best HDR viewing experience possible right now.
Here's ASUS' page and a couple of spec pages for information.

True mate. This is indeed hell of an investment
It's expensive, but it's a professional tool made to meet specific requirements. For a while, I used to use a stupidly expensive monitor at work (my employer made them) and it was definitely very high quality, but there's no way that my needs dictated the use of one (Excel and Word work just as well with shitty colour reproduction).
We just had to pay 30 grand for our monitor, so I wish we could get away with a $4300 one.
This obviously isn't designed for normal use. It is probably great value compared to it's competition too.

That would have been a better title.
Yeah I had to go to the website to find out. Curiosity got the better of me.
$4300 for a monitor, oh, no
