Yeah, the screen and the thermal issue are the two big let down for this laptop from various reviews.
OEM should stop treating AMD CPU as a low-end product, and stop using cheap cooling and display, which devalue the product.
Its a laptop for gaming, the high thermals are a given.
They have included full powered processor and full powered graphics card. It is going to get hot, unfortunately they cannot stick a Noctua cooler init otherwise you would not buy it anyway.
The display definitely sucks and they need the book thrown at them for it.

Been using this laptop albeit the 4800H…brightness is not playable under direct sunlight but other than that..it's fine.
48WH battery I actually prefer as it leaves space to shove in a 2.5" SSD and I'm always on plug as anyway. ASUS has built in battery management so i can force to hover around 50-60% charge to go long life route. Off charge tho, this thing doesn't last if gaming even on the integrated.
