Good for the OCD side of your personality. Also good for labelling kiddos' belongings and your nuts and bolts collection.

LT labels are a bit average though. I’ve restarted to one of these $30 Dymos a few times to label out a comms rack only to come back in a year and find every label has dropped off. The higher end Dymo labels and all Brother labels are much better. This printer can also do bar and QR codes which is handy.
Thanks for the comment. We did look at that one, but decided to go with the Brother as it came with an AC power adapter, rather than having to use batteries.
Plus you can print on fabric and thermal tape too, and you can edit your design on PC/Mac.
I've had one of these for a while now, can recommend.
The only thing I dislike is that it prints and cuts a small amount of tape before each label. You can minimize this with work arounds/continuous printing but there will always be some wastage, it's just the design of the cartridges.
It's more the position of print head vs cutter. Where it prints is far from where it cuts therefore the wastage. As you mentioned if you will be printing a bunch it is best to have a few ready and just print in a row.
I can highly recommend the PT-P710BT, as using the app is much nicer than using the small keyboard on the desk printers (haven't used PTD600, but PTD410 has really mushy keys).
I just use a Dymo LetraTag for $30.
