3.5 times price for a newer model and this class as bargain???
May I ask, where is the KDL55HX800 selling for $1000?
there were quite a few going on ebay few weeks back. and i picked up one from Greys online about 3 month ago for 1300 dollars.
last one i saw i ebay went for 1k.
The answer? SONY and LED. SONY gear is generally overpriced as a rule, LED is still inferior to Plasma and again more expensive for marketing reasons. People think more expensive is better… we all know that isn't true. Bottom line… you'll get a panel that looks as good as this if not better for half the price.
So, the KDL55HX800 can therefore not be bought for $1000.
For a TV that expensive, Id expect a much better discount than that.
3.5K for 55' led? ridiculous price. Sounds like a HN or Myer ad. instead of a bargain deal.
