Brilliant story, great gameplay, and even pretty good graphics! These will play well on even old computer hardware, as they are quite oldish games now. I've played on an old Lenovo laptop at full resolution with no hitches.

      Agreed. Amazing games. Love the 'film noir' theme, never seen anything like it before. Plus the action/gameplay is really fun too. Just bought.

    I've played the shit out of these games and I think I bought MP 2 at their full RRP at EB on release day. Totally worth it.
    And I believe it's only recently they let Aussies buy it from the Steam store, before it wasn't available.
    Hope the Steam edition also works with mods coz they're hella fun.

      i remember going to a family friend's place and playing thiis game. their kid was a little older so he got a shiny new computer at that time with an athlon and a geforce 2 mx. i was so jealous cause all i had was a pentium 166 :(

    But fantastic deal! I spent countless hours on the original Max Payne (with one of the Matrix mods) and this post just got me searching for the old CDs, I hope it still works fine with mods on Win7!

    One of my all-time favourites for sure!

    Got a problem with "Max Payne", Cant seem to get Audio to work so no sound in game :(
