  • Just got back, bit dissapointing compared to normal sales at Myer

  • +1

Myer sales have been hopeless this year. No real bargains and it seems like the only place to buy nice mens clothes is from the city store, all the suburb stores stock a load of crap and house brand clothes.

  • Bought Antler luggage last week for $155, saw the same one today for $168. Both were @ 40% off… sale fail.

  • Pretty sure VH business shirts are a further 30% off $35 at the Macquarie centre store. Was there yesterday and they put the signs up early

  • Anyone looking for a NILFISK EXTREME ECO VACUUM CLEANER, cheapest price on internet is $393 + delivery.
Myer is selling it for $297. Bought one today from Knox City.

  • Brought a fisher price book with phone toy that was on clearance for $40 got 25% off ($10) paid $30. I was told i could NOT get the additional 10% off today by showing the myer one card as the item was on clearance. Is this right?

    • By clearance item, do you mean a red sticker with the old price above and the new reduced price below it!? If so, I'm very surprised you got the 25% off because the 25% off isn't to be used in conjunction with any other offer/discount! I was in the children's clothing section today and I took a dress to the counter that was already a reduced item and was told that I couldn't get another 30% off it, which was the percentage off children's dresses, because it was an already reduced item!?

As for the 10% I would expect the same rules would apply, not applicable to an already reduced item, however, they seem to have done away with that when they gave you 25%!?

Either way, it seems they haven't been particularly consistent!?
