  • Ooooh - with the new design heatsink this time… Shame you can't really use that heatsink inside a laptop.

      or on 99% of motherboards where you would want this caliber of storage as they mostly already have built in heat sinks/shields

      • I think there's still plenty of boards out there with atleast one or more m.2 ports without a heatsink. For example, my board that currently has a 1TB and 500GB SN750 sitting in it.
        Too bad this deal wasn't around when I bought mine, would've paid the extra $30 or so for the heatsink.

    • I don't see any reason why you can't remove the heatsink that comes with the board and have it safely stored.
