Thanks! Always planned to have one of these lying around for jobs I’ll never end up doing myself.

    • if you put it this way… im getting 2
never know when my mechanic will misplace his

  • will this be good for adjusting a mountain bike?

Unfortunately not, min torque on these wrenches is 42Nm which is above most torque settings for a pushy.

    • Should be ok, but just be careful as it's easy to over tighten and strip thread with the extra torque.

If minimum is 42Nm, no. You want something that does a minimum of 2 to no less than 15Nm. I've got one that does 2-24Nm and another that does 2-16Nm

      • ok thanks

I ended up buying the PRO TOOL Work Shop TORQUE WRENCH from Pushys that does 3 to 15 Nm.

Normal price when Aldi has them

    • Does the one from Aldi come with 3 large included sockets and extension?

      Mechpro is fairly decent too.

      • Yes it does, it's looks virtually the same. Once on mob goes to shenzen and imports something, then everyone's doing it

        • Heard a rumour that they have the best bang for your buck there in the lower price bracket lol.

  • Bought, thanks.

Have been planning to purchase one for a while, but similar deals (e.g. Aldi) have always sold out too quickly.

  • I got the Craftright one from Bunnings for the better range (30-210Nm vs 42-210Nm for this one), but this one has an extra 21mm socket, so depends on what you need. Not sure if the extra 10Nm is of any use, but it's good to have. 21mm sockets I already have a few around.

The new Aldi ones have a 60-210Nm range, which I only found out after buying it, and then promptly returning it because the lower range was too high.
