Found this JBL Flip Essential Bluetooth Speaker Gun Metal for $70.40 in Office Works, other stores selling $88. Over all good reviews.

I have the 5, and highly recommend it. But the essential looks like a good budget speaker.

  that comparison says it has USB-C, but google seems to suggest otherwise…which makes me question everything in that comparison

    Good pickup, unless it has changed recently the essential does not have USB-C
