[PC] Free - Armillo @ Steam for a Limited Time

1510

Armillo for the PC is finally released here on Steam. And for a limited time, the full game is completely FREE! No iAP, DLC, nor any ads. It's been a rough 2020, and thought this is a good way to help. Please enjoy the game!

Quick update: We just found out that the game is set to free to play and not free to own, so we've contacted Steam to help fix this. Sorry about this inconvenience as we really intended for people to own the game for free.

About This Game
Rock and roll your way through a colourful world in Armillo, a sci-fi-style rolling platformer. In a once-peaceful galaxy, invading Darkbot forces are cruelly capturing small, blue critters. Flying from planet to planet, help Armillo rescue them and take back his home: a series of spherical 3D worlds featuring all manner of obstacles and enemies. Your main weapon against the Darkbots is Armillo’s roll, which lets you navigate paths, dodging or wrecking anything in your way. Jump and boost your roll to destroy tougher enemies, or collect power-ups to gain special abilities. Along the way, solve cheeky puzzles and grab orbs, which you can spend on bolstering Armillo’s powers for improved Darkbot routing. And that’s something you’ll need, as you battle multi-stage bosses in their own worlds. Within every level, track down a hidden Parallel World, where you’ll be challenged to speed run through a 2D zone. You’ll need lightning reflexes and your best, old-school platforming skills in these special stages – especially as you’re pushed to beat each stage against the clock! With snappy action, vibrant graphics and puzzles to stretch your mind, Armillo is rolling to defeat the Darkbots in this riveting 3D platformer,

    From Developers

Yep. That's actually what I initially wanted to do - a 100% discount when we launch. But after talking with Steam support, they only gave us two options: One is to launch free, then change it to paid later. Or sell it initially for a price, but with a launch discount capped at 40%. I ended up choosing the former. If I can't get them to make it free to own at this point, I think later on if we do put a price on it, we can also set it to 100% off for a time to give people a chance to own it.

I'm guessing once this goes paid it will then be offered with 100% off with an "Add to Account" to allow this free to keep forever.

    • add mouse support, keys are triggering macros I have :)

  • decent game!

Hmm when are they going to sort this out. Not interested in fussing with potential woes of f2p->free version. Just want to jump straight to free version
