Special Price for Popcorn Hour C200 $309 AUD Local Shipping Local Warranty

c200special

Because of the success of our last offer we have decided to offer a similar deal for the C200 media player.

Limit of ONE per customer, if you want more than one you may create a separate account as the coupon code will only work ONCE per customer. Volume discount does not apply. Boxes ship UNOPENED from popcorn Hour, no QA or firmware update and will have wrong power plug. A standard computer power cord will plug into the C200 though.

The current USD price from Popcorn hour is $299 USD + 49 USD shipping, we are charging $309 AUD + $15 AUD shipping AU wide via insured courier (no PO boxes please) and you will have local warranty and support as we are a authorized Popcorn hour dealer. We do not charge surcharge for visa or mastercard, but surcharges apply for Paypal and Amex (we pass on the difference in fees they charge us)
We wish to reduce stock (but not deplete) Note we are not aware of any new model to replace the C200 coming from Popcorn hour we only suspect this may be so based on the A300 info but we have no idea of timing as nothing has communicated with us.

There is a discrete number of discounted product, the offer will run until the 20th Oct or when we have depleted the discounted product whichever comes first.

  • Not coming with built-in TV tuner?

    • No there is no TV tuner with Sigma based media player

  • +1

its a nice unit, as long as it doesn't have handshake issues with your tv…

    • Solution for 99% of handshake issues is to set it manually, we have only ever actually heard of this once from a customer, the solution was to set the resolution on its HDMI out manually instead of using the "auto" selection.

      • in the options in the maintenance area? It works fine on 1080i but as soon as it comes to 1080p I get intermittent white flashing. I was watching a Bluray the other day and thought it was a bit better than it used to be but its still not perfect. I've seen it come up as an issue from other users on the NMT forums but I don't think theres a definitive fix yet. I haven't looked for awhile.

        • There are a bunch of things that could contribute to a issue like this, but this is not really the place for this kind of discussion. If you purchased the unit from us we will be happy to work through this with you, however we have only ever had one of our customers (that comes to mind)report something like this to us previously and we have sold a great many. In any case so long as customer keep packaging in good condition we offer a refund guarantee for 14 days.

NB, I would also try different HDMI port on the TV as well as different cables, with this situation we have seen white streaking on other devices that are sensitive even to which port they are plugged into.

        • Hey Simhanada, I used to have handshake issues with my c200 as well. Turns out it was the HDMI cable/repeater. Don't go out and buy Monster Cables or anything silly like that. But get good quality cable (or at least borrow one for testing purposes) and see if that fixes it.

  • Too tricky for my liking.

I buy media-players that are simple, powerful, and "Just Work".

When I want this mess of complexity & capability, I stick to my HTPC. MUCH better value for money. I find this stuck in the middle.

    • That is the great thing about the C200 it does just work, I found a mac Mini running XBMC far more fiddly, but if you want one we sell those too :)

  • is it capable of playing 3D files

  • I have the A210 and love it! Should have waited for this deal.

  • I have the c200 for close to 2 years now.
    Love it every single day.
A few months ago the power supply got burnt.
Got a replacement from Streamaster and my baby is back again.
    Highly recommend this thing.

  • I've also had my c200 for a couple of years.
Note to those who are looking at buying this; don't be put off by any reviews that are older than june this year.
The C-200 Firmware has changed, giving users a built in media-wall similar to XBMC.

The only fault i have with it is that it would have been nice to have some hardware graphics, it's very obvious that the media wall is being generated and handled by the cpu, making it seem a bit sluggish.

That said, I tend to use the flash skin -Eversion- anyway, which runs much smoother.

All the information you need to know is on www.networkedmediatank.com - including the changelogs for the firmware and a nice-helpful community, if you remember to use the search function before you start asking questions.

    Cheers,
    Evan
