I know every man and his dog has these for $199.99, so do baccarat but if you click the banner and subscribe to their email list you’ll get $20 off bringing the total down to $179.99 - cheaper than anyone else.
Despite saying not available with other offers the code does indeed work on these!

Thanks I read title… fixed!
@[Deactivated]: Good work
Wait for another Global deal and spend the extra $50 on a decent brand.
is there a particular set you recommend?

If you're happy with a 21cm knife as your main knife, then the above is a better brand much better knives made of much better steel and fewer redundant knives cluttering your kitchen.
Otherwise you could get:
A 24cm chefs knife: https://www.kitchenwarehouse.com.au/Tojiro-DP3-Chefs-Knife-2…
and a 12 cm paring knife: https://www.kitchenwarehouse.com.au/Tojiro-DP3-Paring-Knife-…Which should cover you for most cooking tasks as well.
Yaxell Mon: craftsmanship is a little better than Tojiro, same/similar steel
Under $190 with block. They'll cut rings around these baccarat knives.
Don't waste your time with these imo, especially when you can buy Yaxell VG10 knives for a tiny bit more
Cheers for teh info! Hadn't heard of Yaxell before
@simulacrum: I bought a Zen from the deal. Very good craftsmanship. Also have the tojiro and global so can compare.
It looks better than my $69 Kogan Ovela set
Pay a little but more and get a Japanese set by Global.
Cheaper at Robins Kitchen if you sign up to their emails you receive 15% off your fist order bringing these knives down to $169.99
https://www.robinskitchen.com.au/product/baccarat-damashiro-…I have had these knives for three years and I really like them. I managed to pick them up at about $160. Really good value for money. Cooking is my favourite hobby and I can't say I've ever had a complaint about these knives. They sharpen up nicely and still look good
Baccarat is not even close to the japanese knife global, and global is only 20% more expensive
May want to change the price in your description
