Yes it does and it is already included in the package
Just returned these, at $60 definitely not comparable in quality to other brands. I think $30 is a fair price - but not much of a bargain

what was the colour temperature for the white leds like, mainly the cool white?
Tossing up between this and the Xiaomi strips for some bias lighting behind the T.V
The pure white LEDs were on the warmer side. I replaced with Yeelight LEDs for the 24W adapter, better CRI and cooler whites.
I'm in exactly the same boat, but I'm hoping for a warmer white. Had looked at LIFX Z and Yeelight. Yeelight seemed not that much cheaper than LIFX, but with fewer features. I used a Yeelight strip a few years ago and was not impressed with it. Flaky connection to Home Assistant, and rubbish whites. Never had issues with quality of light from LIFX (but have had some disturbing warranty issues).
warranty issues ???
I just take them back to where I bought them and got them swapped over?
@liveish: Good to hear.
I ordered direct from LIFX, and they eventually just stopped responding to my service tickets when bulbs stopped working.
great question… I had 2 Cool White strips and wanted a shorter USB one for my monitor. Picked up a Smart RGB LED strip with USB plug and damn RGB white was not white at all! haha. Tossed it and jsut got a Cool White LED strip.
In the same boat as well, looking at bias lighting options that can ideally be controlled with Logitech Harmony remote.
can I use the controller on this to drive the led strip from Aldi? the aldi one was not wifi only remote control.
Most remote controls use infrared light so it's highly unlikely.
Got two from Aldi that are wifi?
Got the 5m one recently. It's alright, the "warm" white isn't as warm as I'd like but does the job behind the tv.
Is it WS2811 or WS2815?
Any of these good for behind bathroom mirrors (wet areas)? I have added 2 recessed power points into the wall. Plan on placing the strips in a circle behind/ near the edge.
Hey mate, nice find! does this need its own power supply?
