  • I received it yesterday and i'm impressed imo it's a great set of headphones for gaming and watching movies and a pretty good price as well (paid $130 total). Also great service by Skycomp it only took a couple of days to receive the item. Overall A+ from me no complaints.

  • I've heard they have cheap aesthetics, being a high priced gaming headset…., sound is great tho… !

    • Far from it it's very solid unlike the AX pros which feel plastic. It's very bulky though but once you put them on they are pretty comfy because they have a lot of padding on them. Sound quality is very good for games (especially FPS) and movies as well. One minor negative is that there are quite a few cables to contend with which can be a bit annoying initially.

    dont seem "bargain worthy"

    http://www.staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=Sharkoon+X-…

    bested by $1 (ARC)

    • The headphones themselves are the bargain. I was looking to buy another AX pro (the best price i could find was $190 from amazon) before i came across these. I searched around for customer reviews for ARC and skycomp because I have never dealt with them before and decided to go with skycomp in the end because ARC had mixed reviews and it seemed a hassle to order from their site (for postage costs you have to wait for them to email you according to their site lol).

  • Can you really feel the 5.1?
Any headset you can compare them to?

    • The surround sound is great and unlike most gaming virtual surround sound sets I have tried with these you can actually tell if it's behind you or in front of you. Plus the subs on these are great delivers a lot of bass which you can control. It's basically the same as the Tritton AX pros but more solid and over $50 cheaper ($190 v $130). These not only work with PS3, PC and xbox but also works with TV and blu-ray players so great value imo.

    • You can probably guess how "good quality" these headphones are by the effort they put into the grammar of the description.
      Some highlights:
"it also has FM function", "Hi-Fi sound quality let you enjoy your music freely" and "Working time: full of power 15 hours". :D
