Frequently Asked Questions

For more information please see below FAQs. Can't find what you are after, contact us at [email protected].

  1. Why are there no parking products available for the times I have selected?

Although we try to provide as many parking options as possible online, we cannot always provide an available pre-booked product. If you have not found a product for the car park & time you have selected, try selecting an alternative time or car park.

  1. Can I cancel or amend my booking?

Please make sure to double check your entry/exit dates & times as you will be unable to amend your booking times once you press “submit booking”.

  1. Am I entitled to a refund if I do not redeem my booking?

If you do not use your booking for any reason, you will not be entitled to a refund.

  1. What happens if I park for less than my intended booking period?

If you do not park for your entire booking period, you will not be entitled to any refund amount to your Online Parking and Booking Fees.

  1. What happens if I arrive earlier than my Booking entry time?

You will have a 1 hour grace period prior to and after your Booking entry time to allow for unexpected traffic conditions. If you enter the car park outside of your Booking Period and grace period, you will be charged the standard casual rates as displayed at the car park in addition to your Online Parking and Booking fees.

  1. What do I do when I get to the car park?

At the entry gate, insert you nominated credit card instead of taking a casual ticket. The entry column will display your name and vehicle registration as you have entered it in the booking process and the boom gate will open. *Please note: If you see the message “please remove ticket”, your booking has not been recognised and your entry to the car park will be charged at casual rates.

On exit, insert your nominated credit card into the exit column. The exit column will confirm that your exit time is within your nominated booking period and the boom gate will open.

  1. Where can I park?

You can park in any available bay in the car park, except those bays marked with a reserved sign, disabled parking bays or loading docks.

  1. What happens if I stay longer than my intended exit time?

If you stay longer than your intended exit time and grace period you will be charged the standard casual fees as displayed at the car park in addition to the online parking fees you have already paid.

  1. How far ahead can I book my parking?

In most car parks you will be able to book up to 1 month in advance of your entry date. You can book up until 1 hour before your intended entry time.

  1. Do I need to bring my booking reference with me to the car park?

Unless otherwise stated, you will not need to bring your booking reference with you to the car park. Your method of entry will be via your nominated credit card or vehicle registration number if specified.

  1. Who should I contact if there is a problem with my booking?

If you need assistance with your booking at the time of entry or exit at the car park, you simply need to press the intercom button at the column to speak with our ParkWatch control room staff. The staff member will be able to confirm the details of your booking to assist.

If you have a question about your booking prior to redemption at the car park, you can contact our customer service team on 1 800 PARKING (1 800 727 546) during business hours Monday to Friday.

  1. Are there any restrictions on the type of vehicle that can enter your car parks?

Most car parks will have specific height restrictions. It is important to click on the Car Park Info & Map link at the time of selecting your product to review the height restriction of the car park you wish to book.

  1. A different car park to the one I originally selected has appeared on the select your car park and product page. What happened?

The original car park has reached capacity and can no longer accept online bookings. The alternative car park is usually located nearby and offers the same or similar products. Click the Car Park Info & Map link on the alternative car park for location details.

Cheap parking but having to prebook the times when you expect to arrive and leave makes it a bit less appealing.

    • Since is $5 weekend you can book wider window eg. if you intend to shop in city 11am to 3pm book 10am-4pm still $5 not much of hassle right?

i reckon this means you can just book until the lastest time and leave whenever you want. it's the entry time that counts.

not too sure about this…..I tried booking for this friday and next friday night from 7:00 pm to 1:00 am which is what i would think I would use it for and both nights are already full…..remember the subject to availibility clause….not a great deal although it sounds good.

        • +1 pravvy, availability is going to be the sticking point for this deal. I hope people aren't buying these in bulk unless they are able to plan weeks ahead of time.

Is this saying, buy the Spreets voucher now and you can leave booking your car park till months or even years later?

      Update: Got the answer

      Voucher valid for 6 months from 19/10/11 - 19/4/12

  • considering street parking is $3.30/hr in sydney, i'm happy to pre-book for $5 all day weekend parking.

    • fyi this is probably the best for night parking value AND central location (it's close to darling harbour, QVB, and a short stroll to Myer/Pitt St Mall):

Citipark – Cnr Kent, Market & Sussex St, Sydney (entry via 431 Kent St) (Operates 24 hours)
      Night – available after 5pm Mon-Fri – exit before 6am next day
Weekend – available all day Saturday & Sunday when entering & exiting on the same day

    $5 for Perth.

Why bother to pay. Perth city is a gost city at weekends. You can alway find free parking

    • Not to mention the carpark closes at 1pm fri/sat according to the info above…

      What a joke.

  • +2

It appears you don't need a spreets voucher to get this deal. Example here:

    http://www.wilsonparking.com.au/go/promo/online-parking-spec…

    • only at citipark though. the spreets offer covers a wider number of carparks.

  • Wish there was an airport parking deal.

    1.Where can I park?

You can park in any available bay in the car park, except those bays marked with a reserved sign, disabled parking bays or loading docks.#

so those with disabled permits need not apply?

Anyone who pays for parking in Adelaide at night time or on the weekends is a chump…

    • +1

  • Not too shabby. Wilson are so expensive normally.

  • Thanks. Bought two for Sydney.

  • Meh. The Adelaide numbers don't match. Spreets say ADL is worth $28 but the Wilson website says "Maximum $17.00"

Short story. Don't trust the Spreets 'save' figures.

I only park my car on the weekends in the Melb CBD and it's $7 flat rate.

Having to pre-book your arrival to save $2 sounds like a lot of hassle.

    • +1

hello there, may i ask where do you park in Melb CBD for $7?

      • count me in for also wanting to know. There are plenty of $10 flat rates on the weekend, but I haven't seen a $7.

  • Has any one checked the Spreets Melbourne link?
    Its not active!

  • +2

Got my car broken into in the Kent St/Sussex St one a couple of weeks ago. Apparently they don't have security cameras on any levels other than entry and exit.

Good deal for sure, just thought I'd let ppl know that its not as "secure" as it sounds.

Then again, my car doesn't have an alarm.

  • can someone pls explain: does it cost $5 for each Spreets voucher and $5 when you book on Wilson site ? or use the $5 voucher code to NOT paying anything when booking (in which case, why give the CC number) ?

    • Because you need the credit card to insert into the ticket machine when you enter the car park and when you exit.
