At this price it would be way more worth it to wait for another WH1000XM3 deal. I've listened to my friend's new Studio 3's and they sound like garbage compared to the Sonys.
Studio 3's are old tech. Solo pros are much better. Should check them out at JBH or HVN.

I'd suggest trying these next time you're in an Apple store. They've been widely positively reviewed. Perhaps not all models of Beats have an identical sound signature?
I suppose these could be more Apple than Beats.
Great price, only thing holding me back is the fact that they still use lightning for charging.
Im no Audiophile but that article is very old which is relevant for a few reasons. From reviews I've read Beats are now a bit more balanced in their sound rather than being Bass Heavy.
These Beats contain some pretty sweet Apple Silicone, which makes pairing and use a breeze if your in the Apple Eco-System.
There is a huge Margin on alot of tech products from a pure components POV. What these sort of arcticles ignore is the massive amounts of R&D & Marketing that the sellers also factor in when pricing.
