good price from what I can see, not the cheapest but good enough for me to pull the pin on these.

My QC35 II's are still going very strong over 7 years later (which I assume these are similar to), only had to replace the earpads and the soft headband strap. Brilliant noise cancelling for long haul flights.

My version 1s that are even older are still not even close to being worth replacing. I'm onto about my 5th set of ear cushions though.

      • I'm on my 2nd set of earpads, sadly the Bose ones despite being the most comfortable, they disintegrate far too quickly and aftermarket ones aren't worth it due to how uncomfortable they are compared to genuine ones.

        • Hard disagree - the very first time I went with Bose replacements; the rest have all been cheapies and I've found absolutely no discernible difference

          • @Hinee: Entirely depends how long you're wearing them for. Anything more than 1 hour I found the cheapies for very uncomfortable. Bose I can wear for >6 hours with zero issues

          • @Hinee: Bugger me fancy seeing you out in the wild Hinee

        • FWIW, I can't tell the difference between genuine and cheap aftermarket pads.

    • yeah, I was amazed when a friend lent me a pair on a flight recently I had no idea how good they were! I had been using loop earplugs that do an OK job, but nothing like the bose. good to hear they are still going strong. I don't think there's much different between the two models from what I recall.

    • Same here - bought in 2017 and still going strong. New set of earpads was all needed to make it like new again :)

    • I'm still running the QC25s with a set of new ear pads, hard to justify the upgrade

  • Can I use these as a Xbox headset?

You can using the included cable and plug this into the controller. It works really well.

      • I also got the atmos for headphones as well.

How much to replace ear pads and head band from Bose?

These better or same as MX4/5?

    • comfy wise, bose is better. built quality for mx4, mx5 is another level.

    • Genuine earpads are $40 from Bose/JB Hifi. The headband can be purchased from Amazon/Ebay for under <$20 as there is no official replacement

Any differences between the QC 35 II, QC & QC SC?
I did look but can't really see anything, ultra seems a bit too pricey

    • SC just means Soft Case, otherwise the headphones are identical

  • Had the 700s then upgraded to the Sanheiser momentum 4s. Highly recommend the Bose too.

  • What is the difference between Bose QuietComfort Noise Cancelling Headphones (MODEL: 884367-0200) and Bose QuietComfort SC Over-Ear Headphones (MODEL: 884367-0900)?

Also the same price on Amazon it seems

  • We must raise a ticket!

  • I'm still using my 12 year old QC15 - it doesn't stop working!!!

  • I use these everyday, even have a second for backup. Highly recommend!

  • When the $179 deal be back!!!!

    • According to camelcamelcamel this is the cheapest they've ever been on Amazon, so I must have missed out on a better deal … I don't do JB with their rubbish return policies.

      • They were $178 with JB Hifi Perks,
        $180 in-store or $185 delivered by Costco
        and $209 with Student Beans.
$249 is almost the regular price for these.

I might have bought some by now if the demo models (at JB Hifi and Myer) would let you connect to Bluetooth to test them.
They have instructions but don't want to connect (maybe the cable overides it). Same thing with the Sony XM4 and XM5s.
As you mention their poor returns policy, you would think they would let you test the demo models properly.
