Help Me Name My New Company!

Hey Ozbargainers!

So I've completed many home loans in the last few years for many OzBargainers as a Home Lending Manager for a major bank - I've now made the move to open up my own company as a Mortgage Broker in the next couple of weeks.

I need your help with the name!

The names I keep thinking of are either too cheesy/unforgettable/already taken.

I think I'd like along the lines of 'XYZ Finance' -give me your suggestions!

    Personally I would go with one of your top suggestions, pun names are great and all, but if you see your business growing and expanding you do not want to have to rebrand when your business name doesn't match the target market you are after.

        I like Treetop if I was going to pick one, think it would be easy to work into a logo.

        While you do not want to compare mortgages to trees as it should shrink and not grow, I think the idea of wealth growing like a tree works well.

        Not too sure. Something to do with Books seems to fit. Otherwise I just thought of Balding Brokers. Not sure if you are balding but gives the illusion of an experienced person who knows their stuff. Also bit of a laugh and sticks in my mind.

    Seriously though, I think, like you said, stick to having "Finance" in the name, rather than "broking" as you may want to expand and study further into other sectors of financial mgmt (advice, super etc)

      Although mortgage broking will be the predominant service, I'll certainly be doing various types of finance, so I do agree with you.

    If going the comedy angle then Home_A_Loan is great

    Treetop Finance is actually not bad. Not cheesy, but unusual enough to be slightly more memorable. Lots of potential for logos and slogans etc.

    Treetop Finance is nice. If you're in the treetops, you have a better outlook (i.e. you're above everything else). Trees/growth/wealth probably also ties in (assuming you're also doing investment loans).

    Blue Owl Finance could be good, but why the "Blue" at the start? Owls are wise, which makes it good.
