Guessing this wouldn't stack with Good Guys Commercial?

    • CR site: Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via The Good Guys Commercial website.

    • Unfortunately not

  • Cashback 10% not capped?

    • Can't see a limit on CR or SB but would prefer if they confirm.

      • +4

There is no limit at ShopBack

  • Can the payment be made with gift card?

    • standard conditions for exclusions say "Gift card purchases unless otherwise stated"

    • +3

Unfortunate you can’t stack with gift cards.

      • +3

Payment via gift card was not in the exclusions though. Only stated "Gift card purchases unless otherwise stated".

        • Hi @gotyourback can you clarify this?

          • -1

@Kas: Sorry guys understand the language is not explicit there enough - have asked the team to clarify/update, but right now the stance is that you can't stack with gift cards.

            • +1

@gotyourback: Defo need to make that clear in the T&Cs please - if it is the case that you can't pay with GCs

      • +2

@gotyourback - the question was whether or not cashback is eligible for purchases made with gift cards.. not the purchase of gift cards.

  • +1

    Google home max: $199
    Ring doorbell gen 1: $119

Both are clearance but are well priced after cashback and bonus credit

    • Google Home Max appears as $349 to me. After 10% cashback + $40 TGG credit, total cost will be $275…care to explain how it will cost $199 please?

      • +1

I believe you are refering to Home Hub Max, Where as Kamppinator is referring to Home Max

        • Aha! Yes, thanks for that. I wish the Hub Max was cheaper :-(

  • +19

150 days claim period on shopback - only 100 days on cashrewards

    • +2

That is indeed a long time.

  • +4

Ugh the Heat Pump Dryer I was looking at has been price jacked anyway.

    Was $1499 Now $1675

    GG TGG :(

  • Fridges?

    • We bought a new fridge last saturday and we got $46.07 (Pending) - (Fridge was $1299.00) plus we are getting a $80.00 store credit sent to us by email by the 1st of July

  • +1

Any suggestions on what to buy for $21 to meet the min $120 for the cashback?

    • +3

Had the same dilemma. Ended up with nose Trimmer and A4 paper

      • +8

        The essentials!

      • +5

You trim your nose? Is this because you lie a lot?

        • +1

Eventually he might be able to make his own paper?

    • Laundry powder / liquid, or some kitchen utensil/s.

  • -2

So can you use the $80 to apply to the purchase or is it for future use?

    • +11

Important to note that the store credit will be received on July 1st(deals might be off) and expires on July 8th, 2020 according to the T&Cs.

Edit. Sorry. Supposed to be a comment to the post.

      • +4

wow. That's an incredibly short period to use the credit.

        • +2

and most likely to be used on RRP priced items

      • +2

        Yea, Nah…

Was about to buy a TV but decided not to.

        • Why? I bought a hisense q8 for a ridiculous price

          • +1

@nikoris: Looking for a 40-45 incher but prices are pretty standard

      • +1

Thanks for that. Very useful info.

  • Anyone tried payment via gift cards before? Can't see any restrictions

    • Would also love to know >.>

      • +3

        see comments earlier

  • Does latitude pay work with the shopback & credit bonus.

    • Yes it does, I used it earlier. Got email confirming cashback from CR!

  • Does it work with Air Con?

  • 20% off would be better !

    • +1

      30% off would be better!

  • +16

Appreciate the post DealBot for those that will use it, and ++ for Shopback.

However… 7 day credit expiry where they will likely be out of stock on many things seem incredibly dodgy and unethical for the average consumer. "The Good Guys" - not so sure about that one.

    • +4

Agreed. 7 day expiry is really crap.

    • The terms actually says: Store credit will expire on Monday 8th of July 2020 at 11:59pm.

Seeing as there is no such date (8 July being a Wednesday), I wonder if it never expires :P

    • Lol wut?
It’s a gift that THEY DONT HAVE TO GIVE YOU, and you are complaining about the terms? Lol

      Isn’t it better than nothing?

  • Surface 7 Pro is very tempting now, almost 1k flat after discount, $250 for the type cover is so expensive though… Can get 6 combos for slightly less

    • Excludes laptops.

      • +1

The bonus credit does exclude the laptops, but not the cashback.

      • As per below, cheapest out there w/10% cash back

      • Is the surface a laptop tho? Plot thickens

  • This would be awesome for buying a Nvidia Shield which retails for $399 but they don't sell it online!?!? Only in store.

They say it's not available in store but shows stock are available in store. Bit of a mess.

  • Maybe it is best to list what are included instead of excluded.

Been waiting to pull the trigger on a DJI Mavic Air 2, FMC - nearly bought last night but waited for today for some reason.. 172$ cashback + 80$ voucher :)

    Chuffed!

  • Sony WH1000XM3 for $297.10 if you value the $80 voucher as equivalent to cash ($41.90 plus $80 voucher)

  • Website seems to be getting smashed and now it can't tell me what stock is available at my local stores.

  • Can one stack with gateway rewards ??

Are they viewed as "gift cards" ??

  • +1

Can't see store stock for pickup. Delivery charges too high.

  • +1

can the store credit be used to buy gift card?

  • Well, that made buying a new watch a quicker choice. Thanks for posting this one! $58.55 cashback on a watch (+ gold rewards thingy). :)

  • Is it applicable to Samsung tvs?

  • Hi all, I'm logging in to Good Guys through Cashrewards but when I go to enter credit card details Cashrewards notifier disconnects (check symbol disappears)? Using Apple Mac….any suggestions? Thanks.

    • +1

Do an incognito/private browser - CR have been great in the past where an item didnt track but they managed to get me cashback since they had the tracking and invoice :)

      • Hi a-jr, many thanks for the advice…Cheers

  • Already bought and received a q8, great deal

  • Thanks OP. i received cashback notification $232, and will wait for the $80 store credit.

  • +1

    Got a TCL50P8M for $450 after cashback plus an $80 voucher. 370 net for a 4k tv is a true bargain….

  • Dubious.

My order for a Surface Pro X went through last night. Got a call from Osbourne Park store this morning saying there was an error in their system that they actually had no stock. They advised that another store still has stock but they would still have to issue a refund and I would then have to make a new purchase at that store. Of course the 10% cash back is over.

    • How about the $80 store credit? Still honoured? I was 8 minutes late to purchase my order last night… :-(

      • No store credit for surface products unfortunately

  • Did anyone else have there cashback rejected (Cashrewards)? I just got a rejection for a DJI drone because it was against the T&Cs… which it wasnt?
