    With the right beans and grinder, it makes a big difference. With Vittoria pre-ground, it doesn't matter what you use.

    Better feel when you tamp your coffee grounds and better coffee taste.

    The plastic one is too light and not easy to tamp.

    Keep in mind the dedica has a pressurised portafilter. Tamping pressure etc is going to make nearly zero difference. Buy a nice tamp if your like the look/ergonomics of it, but don't buy expecting to make better coffee

  The plastic is just useless! I received this today and just used it and made a huge difference in tamping the coffee.
