Yep, code worked for me too. I ordered one to replace one set of joycon.
Left joycon started shifting so hard its like caps lock is on and one right joycon has the issue where the led doesn't work and it won't function unless paired with a left joycon as a set
You can replace the joycon analog stick with for less than $15 - it's pretty straightforward and plenty of youtube videos. Replaced my drifting one a month ago. Hardest bit if finding a decent triwing screwdriver - the one I got from eBay was crooked so unscrewing was a bit more difficult than it should have been!
Shhhh this is my excuse to buy new things! But yeah I have looked into fixes for both left and right and I agree with you, looks simple if you have the tools and parts. Ill definitely try fixing before giving up on them completely
